Thi Thi walks back up the stairs. When Thi Thi walked up, Anthony walked down the stairs. I looked at the time and saw it was still early. "Good morning Anthony." I said, walking behind him. He had washed his hair when he was in the shower. To all of our friends, I'm like the mother of everyone. "Do you want me to do it?" I asked him. He thought about it for a moment, then shook his head yes. "Go and grab the stuff." I said, he got up and grabbed everything. I pulled out the chair I always use when doing their hair. Thi Thi must of saw Anthony grabbing the stuff for his hair, so he grab his stuff.
I waited for Anthony to come down. While I was waiting, I pre-order our food for breakfast. Anthony came down and placed everything into its right spot. I start on Anthony hair by wetting his hair then parting it in four parts. I start parting the first section into little boxes. I then braid those little boxes until his whole head is done. I had a pot of water bowling on the stove. I take the towel he brought down and dip it in the water. I then took the towel and rubbed all over his hair, making his braids not so tight. Once I finished his hair fully, I started on Thi Thi's hair. By the time I was done, it was around 9 something. We cleaned up, I wrapped Anthony's hair up, then we headed out the door.
I turned my car on and waited a little bit. I pulled out the driveway and headed to pick up our food. Once everyone was fed and ready for the day, I went and dropped the two boys off at their mother's house. I then headed to the church so I could help fix anything up or do something before church started. I parked my car then ate my food and headed to the front of the church. I walked in and went to find the other members of our group. I walked into the back where we were always at. And when I tell you everyone looked at me, I might as well become some type of star. "Um, good morning everyone." I said. They just looked until Isaiah made a noise that threw everyone back on track. "So how are we going to do this today?" Isaac said, looking at everyone for an answer no one knew of. Isaac is Isaiah and Israel older brother. "As the youth's president, I think we should have Rieko directing what starts and what ends. That includes downstairs too." Isaiah said, looking at me with a smirk on his face. I mouth to him 'I hate you so much'. "Would that be ok with you?" Jada asked me, making sure I was ok with doing that. Jada is Brea older sister, so it was understandable when she asked me that. "Yea of course, I'm ok with that." I said, fixing the straps of my dress. "Alright so we have that cover, now for the rest of the morning." Brence said. Brence is Brea and Jada mother.
10:45 came around and church started. Well not yet. I had to go and start it because they won't and Isaiah had assigned me this job. I walk out of our little room. As I walked out, the youth of the church followed me in their blue and gold. "Good morning Antioch, good morning." I said, speaking into the mic. "Good morning!" The church repiled. "As the church has now begun, less hear it from the Antioch youth leading us into devotion." I said once again into the mic. I was a little nervous but not too much. I managed to not stutter, so that's a first. I walked away from the mic so someone can go up to the mic and start devotion. Devotion ended, and I walked back up to the mic after Israel cleaned it off. "That was a wonderful devotion." I said, giving them a compliment while I tried to stay as calm as possible. "But let's get into this. If there is any visitors here today, will you please stand up." I said, giving instructions to the audience. We had a few visitor that was here at the church. "Please state your name, what church you go to, and who asked you to come." I once again gave instructions to the people standing up. Everyone did exactly that, then the church greeted our visitors. Everyone had settled down and was calm, waiting for my next words. "Alrighty, we have a few announcements, then we will get into the singing of our lovely choir." I said, moving the paper with the word announcements to the front of the pile. After that, the first part of church was a breeze. Church had ended, and everyone was getting ready to go home until Isaiah said something to me. "Rieko the downstairs is ready, let everyone know." He said. Then walked out the main part of the church. I walked up to the mic and tapped it a few times. Everyone stopped what they were doing to see what I was going to say. "Everyone, we will be celebrating the church's anniversary, so would you even if you can, slowly make your way downstairs. We will eat and celebrate. Again would everyone please come downstairs." I said everyone was nodding their heads letting me know they would be down there. I tried to walk down the stairs but my heels wouldn't let me. I was starting to give up when Isaiah came from behind me. "Need some help Bunny Ears?" He said, casually throwing his nickname he gave me in there. "Yes please." I said, taking his hand. He helps me down the stairs making sure I don't fall. When we make it down there, almost everyone had found them a place to sit at and waited for instructions. I walked over to the stand that was there and took a breath in and out. "Hello again to everyone. As the kitchen brings the plates of food out and everyone gets a chance to sit down, I will then go further with instructions." I said, sitting down next to the mic. Once everyone was settled down in their seats and the kitchen brought the food out. I started giving more instructions to what was going to happen. "Alrighty everyone, we will pry then have the elderly get up and get their food. After the elderly we will have the teenagers then the young people." I said, I didn't realize Isaiah was behind me until I felt his hand go around my waist and speak into the mic.
