Adopted By Jared Padalecki

ADOPTED

I walked in the front door and saw that everybody was already downstairs. I could also see that the 9 and older kids looked sad . I guess you could say we all lost hope in getting adopted. The youngest kid we have is 5

All of the other kids were talking amongst there own group of kids.

All of a sudden we all heard a knock at a door and we all became quiet ,and Miss.Annie came into the room we were in and said

"Okay guys that's probably him , but also know matter who he adopts we have to be happy for them and remember that someday it will be you getting adopted" she gave us a reassuring smile ,then walked to open the door. It was a small place so you could her there convorsation.

Miss.Annie opened the door and greeted the guy with a smile and said "Hey you must be Jared ,come on in."

The guy came in and he had longish brown hair and he was TALL and when I saw tall I mean this guy had to be like 6'5 or something .

Mrs.Annie came into the room and said "Hey guys this is Jared and he is going to adopt today" she then turned to Jared and said "Was there a specific age you wanted "

He responded with "Yes actually I was in between age 11 to your oldest."

That just gave. Me a small tiny piece of hope in my big fat heart

"Okay that would leave us with Jaime, Alexis, Jasmine,Olivia,Eric,Daniel,and Dawn. So all you are going to do is just going to interview the kids and choose who you want."

Of course I was last I was the oldest. Mrs.Annie told all the other kids to wait in their rooms until we were done.

The whole time I was nervous

Mrs.Annie finally came out and told me it was my turn to get interviewed

I walked into the dining room and sat down in front of Jared .

"Hi I'm Jared what's your name" he asks

"Dawn" I say but I'm still kinda shy and mainly nervous.

"Well Dawn could you tell me about yourself"

I quickly think of things to say but then I just remind myself to be myself.

"Umm well I'm fifteen and honestly I don't really know what to say "

"Well then umm what about your hobbies what do you like to do or your favorite things"

It takes me a while to respond because I'm thinking really hard

"Well I like to read  and I just like to have fun. My favorite food is most likely everything I like trying new things. My favorite drink is Root beer but I hate the A and W brand . I always wanted to become a youtuber but never had the right things to do it . umm and that's probably the best I can sum myself up ." 

I let out a deep breath not even realizing that I was holding it

Jared smiles and says something that shocks me "Well Dawn umm if its okay with you I would like to adopt you "

I get out of my chair with a big smile on my face"wait are you serious your not messing with me right because that is just really messed up "

He is still smiling"No I'm not messing with you I would really like to adopt you and I think you should go and start packing your stuff while I sign the papers"

I nod my head "okay" then I quickly walk more like run out the room and up the stairs to go pack .

I finish packing and I go down stairs while I wait for Jared

Then I realize the day I never thought would come is finally here.I'm getting adopted . I'm so happy and excited like even more excited then when I tasted nuttella and I LOVE THAT STUFF .

Speaking of nutella I decide to call Jenn and tell her the good news .I pull out my phone and click on Jenn's contact

"hello"

"Jenn "

"Yeah"

"I JUST GOT  ADOPTED"

"WAIT YOU GOT ADOPTED"

"Yes I did and I'm really happy more happy than I was when I tried nutella "

"Wow"

I here Jared and Mrs. Annie coming

"Hey I got to go but I'll call you as soon as I get settled in "

"Okay bye girl good luck"

"Bye"

I'm still smiling even though I'm pretty sure I never stopped

Jared comes out from the dining room with Mrs. Annie with a smile on his face but Mrs. Annie looks a little sad so I go up and hug her and say

"Bye Mrs. Annie." I step away and she gives me a small little sad smile. "Bye Dawn I'll miss you. " a small tear escaped from her eyes ,I understand how she feels basically she raised me she was the mom I never had. " I'll miss you to and I promise I'll call and come to visit" I give her another hug then she says " you are welcome anytime and you better call me and visit or I'll hunt you down" I laugh and nod my head then I turned to jared and say "I'm ready to go"

He is still smiling as he tacks my two bags filled with all of my stuff and walks out side. I saw bye to Mrs. Annie one more time as I take one look at the place I grew up but then I remember I'll come back to visit.

I walk up to Jareds truck and get inside out on my sit belt ,as he gets in and says "are you ready" I nodded my head with a smile and responded with "yeah"  then we drive away from the orphanage.
