Sandstorm
Sandstorm blinked, sunlight warming her back. If Squirrel DARES attacking me with--
"BREAKFAST!" Squirrel roared, throwing mangos at Sandstorm and apricots at Macaw--who sleepily lifted his head and licked some of the juice off his face--with a big grin.
Sandstorm breathed heavily, trying not to lose her temper. Mango dripped off her left wing and she flinched. "WHAT IN THE NAME OF DARKSTALKER IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" She exploded, leaping to her paws and spreading her wings.
Squirrel tipped her head to the side, seemingly studying Sandstorm. She shrugged, her face lighting up, and then flew out of the cave. I hate that dragon, Sandstorm thought bitterly. She has enough sense to walk off a cliff and forget she can fly, she decided, and too little to see that I'm about to kill her if she does—She frowned as mango fell from her side. Great. Just great.
Shaking herself off, she made her way out of her cave, a frown plastered to her face. She grimaced as Platypus came tumbling down the hallway. "Hey!" He shouted, trying to slow down, "watch out!"
Uh oh. She swerved trying to miss the wheelbarrow full of coconuts, but only crashed into a plant vase and prayed that this wasn't her last moment as she was attacked by coconuts. ARRGGGHH! She thought furiously, thrusting herself forward and letting out a loud growl. "What is wrong with dragons here? WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE HERE?!"
Platypus looked shocked and uncomfortable, shifting his paws on the ground. "Er..." he swallowed. "Sorry?"
"I've been bombed by mangos, attacked by coconuts, and everyone is so rude and I HATE FRUIT!" She slammed her paw down.
Platypus took a step back. "I should...probably get going now."
She watched him through narrowed eyes as he bounded down the hallway, racing around a corner and out of sight. Hmph.
"We're you planning to flood this school with coconuts?" A voice said sharply from behind her.
She spun around, eyes widening as she saw it was Cloud, the head mistress of this school. "Er—um. This wasn't me!" She protested. "It was Platypus! He just ran around the—"
"Don't lie," the SkyWing snapped. She sniffed. "And I suggest you get that mango cleaned off of you."
The world is against, me I swear.
