There is A LOT of discussions about relapsing via alcohol within this chapter, as well as discussions about an unhealthy/toxic relationship and mental health topics. Please do not read any further if these subjects are sensitive to you.

An hour passes. More people had flooded into the home as time had passed, leaving the group tipsy and stumbling around the backyard. Mingi started a fire in the firepit near the beach, gathering as many chairs as he could so people could sit around it. Yunho managed the fire with Mingi, bottles of soju cast aside as they sat together, talking fondly amongst themselves as if there was no one else around.

Yeosang and Wooyoung were currently stuck in a game of cup pong that they had so graciously organized on the dining room table. Yeosang made the rule that if your team lost, you had to kiss your partner. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Wooyoung was game, considering the lingering sting of fireball licking through his veins. San had noticed a slight demeanor change, but nothing that he couldn't argue with other than pure enjoyment of being with his friends.

Seonghwa and Hongjoong were the opposing pair in the match of cup pong, and were currently down two cups and losing. San watched quietly from the kitchen, solo cup in hand, sipping lightly on some weird concoction Jongho had mixed for the both of them. It was strong, and slightly bitter, but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. He had explained to Wooyoung earlier in the night that he wanted to have a drink or two, but nothing too extreme, and the younger didn't seem phased by the idea and agreed happily.

Wooyoung wets his lips as he holds a ping pong ball between his fingers, smirking as he bounces the ball carefully, only to end up missing entirely. Wooyoung cackles at himself, hiding his laugh behind his hand as he looks at Yeosang, who simply shakes his head. Seonghwa bounces his own ball, watching as it hits the table, then bounces upright and lands directly in the middle of a cup near the back row. Seonghwa cheers happily, beaming brightly, earning a few praises from Hongjoong. Yeosang rounds the table, taking out the ball so he could down the contents, setting down the cup in the small pile to Wooyoung's left. The teams were almost tied now, leaving Wooyoung's team with three cups, and Seonghwa's team with four.

They continued back and forth, Wooyoung missing nearly every toss while Yeosang landed one more, spurring Hongjoong into drinking. Seonghwa lands another bounce, which causes Yeosang to chug another half-shot of vodka. At this point, almost everyone at the table was inebriated. Seonghwa was slurring his words, Yeosang was struggling to stand upright and couldn't stop laughing, and Hongjoong kept forgetting Wooyoung's name. Nonetheless, they all kept playing until there was one cup left for each team. Wooyoung carefully messes with the ping pong ball in his palm, eyeing the last remaining cup, biting the tip of his tongue as he leans down, listening to Hongjoong berate him quietly. Wooyoung doesn't seem to notice as he tosses the ball gently, watching it bounce off of the table and land into the final cup. Yeosang's arms shoot upwards with a loud cheer as he rounds the side of the table and engulfs Wooyoung in a tight hug.
