The Breakup

Joshua wakes up from the sun hitting his face. He gets up and gets ready for school when his mom yells from down stairs "Josh come down I made breakfast." Then he says "I'm cojustming mom, getting my stuff ready." After ten minutes, he gets down stairs and eats the breakfast his mom made him. He has been driving to school since he was seventeen. He just got out of high school last year, and now he is at college with his girlfriend Lola for business. He went to Lola's house and picked her up to go to school. While on the road, Lola said "Baby, can I go out with some friends tonight?" Joshua never liked it once Lola went out with her friends. "No, stop asking. You know that I don't like it." And the rest of the ride to school was quiet. After fifteen minutes, they reached school and went to their first class. Since they don't have the same classes, Lola went to her English class while Joshua went to his math class.
    Lola was in her class once her friends came into the classroom. She called them to come over to sit next to her. One of her friends said " Hey, bestie!!!! So are you coming to my party tonight?" Lola looked over at them with a sad expression and said "No, Josh won't let me. He said that he doesn't like it when I go out with my friends." Jane, one of Lola's friends said "Then why are you still with him? He never lets you do anything. Why?" Everyone agreed with Jane. Just then, the teacher came in and started her lesson. After one hour, the teacher said "Well, that's all for today. Have a good day." Then the students started to pack their things. Lola and her friends went to their lockers, but they caught the glimpse of Joshua giving them death glares because they are with Lola. Jamie, Jane's boyfriend, came to them and greeted all of them and asked "So, Lola, how are things with you and Josh?" The mention of Joshua hurt Lola so bad to where she looked down and started to cry. "It's not good at all. He never lets me do anything. It's like he doesn't want me to have happiness. I asked him if I could go with y'all tonight, and he said "No, stop asking. You know that I don't like it when you go out with your friends." I envy yours and Jane's couple relationship. Y'all always do things together. But he never lets me do anything."
    Just as Lola said that, Joshua came over there and slapped Lola in her face. "The hell you just say, Lola? Say it again, I want you to." Lola started to cry harder and harder. "All of what I said is true Joshua. You don't ever let me do anything, even once I'm with my parents. I'm tired of it. You always say the same thing once I ask you if I can do something. Not like you do anything with me. You always tell me "No, stop asking." or "No, I'm busy. Watch the movie by yourself." That's what you tell me, and I'm sick and tired of it. We are done, don't ever talk to me again!" After Lola said that she walked away and went to her next class. Joshua was still standing there dumbfounded once the bell rang. After school Lola rode home with Jane and Jamie. Once they reached her house, before Lola got out of the car, she said "I'll be ready by 6:30 for you to come and get me. Thanks for the ride." She started to walk to the door once they called "We'll be here to pick you up. But are you going to be okay?" Lola then turned around and said "Ok. And yeah I'll be ok. I'm finally free from him." Then she headed to the front door.
    After she got in the house, she went straight to her closet to pick out the perfect outfit for the party. It took her almost thirty minutes before she found the perfect outfit. She put the outfit on the bed and she went to take a shower and get ready for the party. After showering she took the outfit and put it on, and started to do her hair and makeup. The outfit that she wore was mid-thigh black lace that showed most of her back with her open-toed black heels. Once 6:25 came, she called Jane and said "Heyy, bestie!!! I'm ready." Jane then responded by saying "Heyy. Ok we will be there in a minute. What are you wearing?" Lola is in a great mood and Jane and Jamie can tell because of how she is talking. "I can't tell you, it's a surprise." After that, Lola cut the call and she heard a knock on the door. She went to the door but once she opened it she got shocked at who she saw.
    Once she opened the door, she found Joshua at her door looking angry. She noticed that he was angry because of how he was looking at her. She tried her best to close the door but he was faster than her. He got inside before she could close the door, but what he did she did not expect. She was scared for her life of what he was trying to do. Once he came inside the house he pinned her to the wall and kissed her lips and started to move down to her neck. Lola said crying "Please stop. I'm begging you, Joshua please." She was pushing him with all of her strength, but he was too strong for her. Just then Jane and Jamie arrived. They knocked on the door, but no one answered. So Jane yelled from outside the door "Lola come open the door. We are waiting for you." Just as Jane said that they heard screaming coming from inside the house. Jamie looked at Jane and said "Back up." Jane did what he said and he kicked the door in, and what he saw was Joshua trying to force Lola. Jamie ran over to them and pushed Joshua off of Lola, and started to punch him till he fainted. While Jamie and Joshua were fighting Jane ran over to Lola and tried to calm her down.
    Finally after about twenty minutes, Lola calmed down and saw that Joshua was on the floor unconscious. She looked over at Jamie and Jane and said "Is he dead?" Jamie looked over and said "No but he wished he would be dead right now." They all looked at each other and Jane asked "What happened? Why did he come here?" Lola looked at them and said "I don't know why he came. After I cut the call with Jane I heard a knock on the door, but once I answered it he looked at me with an angry expression. I tried to close the door but he got inside and then pinned me to the wall and tried to force me. I kept on saying stop and to leave me along but he didn't stop till y'all got here. Thank you Jamie for getting him off of me. Thank you Jane for calming me down." Lola looked at them with her bloodshot red puffy eyes and hugged them both. After a few minutes they broke the hug and looked at each other. Then Lola looked in the mirror and said "Great now I look like a raccoon from crying, and now my dress is messed up. How can I go to the party looking like this?" Then Jane and Jamie started laughing at Lola, and then Lola started to laugh as well. Jamie looked at Lola and Jane and said "Well the party doesn't start for another two and a half hours. We can go shopping for a new outfit. If y'all want." Jane looked at Lola and said "Clean your face, we are going shopping." Lola looked at them and smiled and headed to the bathroom to clean up her face. While Lola went to clean her face, Jamie and Jane called the police to come and get Joshua from Lola's house.
    Lola came down stairs and saw that the police were there taking Joshua to the hospital, then she saw a couple of officers talking to Jane and Jamie. Lola went towards them and the officer said "Miss, could you please tell me what had happened?" Then Lola got scared of the officer and ran to hide behind Jane and Jamie. They then realized that she was a little traumatized about what happened. But they calmed her down and she finally said what had happened. After the police left they all got in the car and went to the mall to go shopping. After fifteen minutes they finally arrived at the mall. They went to a store and got some outfits for Lola to try on. After five minutes they finally found the perfect outfit, and they moved to the shoes. After shopping Lola was looking beautiful in her outfit that her two best friends picked out for her. They went to the car and went to the party to have some fun.
