The Tiring Week

After waking up from the sun hitting her face Lola got up and went to get ready for work. While taking a shower she started to sing one of her favorite songs. While she was singing Kol woke up and started to get ready for the office. He was about to go into the bathroom to get a shower, but he stopped once he heard Lola in the shower singing. He opened the door and saw that Lola was in there turning the water off walking out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her. Once she stepped out of the shower, he was just staring at her while smirking and said "Now this is what I wouldn't mind waking up to." Lola looked at him and chuckled while saying "Well, You could if you start to wake up once I do." Once Kol heard that he was just smirking and said "So you're telling me that I will get to see this beautiful view if I wake up once you do? And then I'll be able to get in the shower with you as well?" While seeing his reaction Lola just laughed and said "Maybe that's what I'm saying. Maybe that's not what I'm saying. Who knows? Guess you'll just have to find out tomorrow morning." Saying that Lola went out of the bathroom and went to the closet to get dressed.
After Lola went into the closet Kol went into the bathroom with a smirk on his face and said to himself "I guess we will see babygirl." After Kol said that he started the water. While he was in the shower he saw his little scar that he got from the night once Lola scolded him for going into a gun fight. After recalling that moment he chuckled a little bit remembering how cute she looked when she was scolding him. After remembering those moments he continued to take his shower until he was done. After he showered he went out of the bathroom and got dressed for work. While Kol was getting dressed Lola, Jane and Jamie were downstairs waiting for him to get done. After Kol came down they went to the dining table and ate the breakfast that was prepared. The maid made some pancakes, eggs, and bacon with some juice on the table. Then they got up and left for work.
On the ride to the office Jane asked Jamie and Lola "Guys, I wonder how much work we will have today?" They all looked at each other and said "I don't know. Probably not too much." Lola replied. Lola was on her phone the whole ride there. She was messaging her mom telling her that she was on the way to work. After they got there they immediately went to Kol's office and knocked on the door. "Come in." Kol said after hearing the knock. They entered the office and said "What do we need to do today?" Jane and Jamie were looking at Kol waiting for his response while Lola said "Baby, I'm gonna get you a coffee. And then I'll read you your schedule." Kol looked at her and said "Ok. Thank you." Kol then looked back at Jane and Jamie and said "This week is gonna be busy. I'm sorry guys." and gave them three files each to do. "Can y'all try and give these back to me at the end of the day?" They looked at him and said "Yea, sure." After saying that they left.
While Lola was getting some coffee for Kol she heard someone talking about how they want to do something with Kol. After hearing that she went up to his office and knocked on the door. "Come in." After being given permission to enter she walked up to him and gave him his coffee and said "There are some girls downstairs by the coffee area talking about how they want to do something with you. But this is your schedule for today. You have a meeting with Jewels Industries in ten minutes. Then you have your lunch break and then you have another meeting ten minutes after. And then you have a meeting with the company about the new projects coming up." Kol was just listening to what she was saying while looking at her. After she was done he said "Ok. Thank you. And about those girls, who were they, and do you believe that I will actually do it?" She looked at him and said "It was Casey and Destiny, and no I don't believe that you will do it." Kol looked at her and smirked and said "Oohh yea? And why is that?" she then looked at him and said "Because for one, you are mine and no one else's. For two, you're not dumb. And for three, you know that I will kill you if you do." She smirked at him while looking at his reaction.
They finally went into the meeting room for the meeting that he has in the morning. As he entered the room he was greeted and welcomed by the staff. He went to his seat and sat down with his cold face on and said "The meeting can start." As soon as he said that, someone from the other company got up and started the slideshow for the meeting. While the meeting was going Kol was listening very carefully with Lola by his side. For Lola she was paying attention until she felt something on her thigh, she looked down and saw that it was someone's hand. Lola turned to her right and saw that it was Kol's hand that was on her thigh. She pushed his hand off and whispered "Not now. Later." But that didn't fly by with Kol. Him being him he put his hand back on her thigh and squeezed her thigh a little bit and whispered "You know that I don't take that for an answer. Imma put my hand on your thigh if I want." After she heard that she started to blush a little bit, while he was smirking after seeing her reaction.
At the end of the meeting the CEO of Jewels Industries said "So, Mr. Chan? What do you think?" Kol looked at him and said "It was good. I'm impressed by your ideas. You did a good job Mr. Rover." After hearing that a smile appeared on Mr. Rover's face and said "So do we have a deal?" Kol looked at him and said "Yes, we have a deal." And he signed the collaboration contract. After everyone left the meeting room Kol and Lola were heading back to his office. After getting in his office Lola closed the door and turned around just to be welcomed by being pinned to the wall by Kol. Kol looked at her and said "Now? Where did Ms. Park get the courage to push my hand off of her thigh and tell me "Not now. Later." ?" Lola was looking at him as she was lost in her thoughts. He kept on staring at her until she finally got brought back to reality by being kissed on the lips. It didn't take her long to respond to the kiss. But they got interrupted by someone knocking on the door. After they broke the kiss Kol went and sat in his chair while Lola opened the door. As she opened the door one of the employees came in and walked towards Kol. "Sir? Can I ask you something?" Kol looked up from his laptop screen and said "Yes, what is it, Casey?"
Casey looked at him and said "Do you have any plans tonight?" Kol looked at her and said "Yes. Why?" Casey looked at him a little upset, because she wanted to see if he would go to dinner with her. "Ooh. Umm. I was just asking if you wanted to go for dinner with me." Just then Kol noticed that Lola was giving death glares to him as she was saying with her eyes "Do it and you will die by my hands!!!" Kol gulped by seeing Lola's stares. But just as he gulped being a little scared by his girlfriend, Casey walks towards him and said "Mr. Chan are you ok?" Kol then looks at her and says "Yea. Yea I'm ok. But I'm always busy. So my answer is no." After hearing that Lola looked at Casey's face smirking, as she knew that Casey was up to something but it had failed. Casey walked closer to Kol and put something on his desk, but the next thing that she did made Lola pissed off. Casey pulled Kol's chair back and sat on his lap and tried to kiss him. Just as she sat on his lap Kol was quick enough to push her off and she fell landing on the floor.
As Casey was on the floor Kol got up and said "I'm always busy, because I'm always busy with my girlfriend, Ms. Casey. You came what you came here for, so you may leave now." Kol was raising his voice, getting pissed off at one of his employees for not acting professional at work. Just as he said that he snaked his arms around Lola and kissed her in front of Casey. After seeing that Casey got so pissed that she just stormed out of his office slamming the door behind. After Kol heard the door being slammed he pulled out of the kiss and looked at her and said "Now? You still didn't answer my question. Where did you find the courage to push my hand off of your thigh? Hmm?" Lola was just looking here and there trying to avoid his stares, but Kol lifted her chin and made her look at him. They were only staring at each other, as nobody dared to say a word. As Kol still got no response he said "Well. It's either you can answer me? Or, We can just take a little break from this work and we can do another work? Choice is yours, Babygirl." Kol said in a stern voice making shivers go down Lola's spine, but once he whispered the last word his breath was touching her neck making her breath go uneven.
They stayed like that for a few minutes until she kissed him and pushed him away gently while saying "I did that because we were in a meeting and we are still at work." Kol looked at her and said "I don't care if we are at work. I'm the CEO, this is my company. But you're right we were in a meeting. I'm sorry, can you forgive your baby boy?" As he said the last sentence he made a cute little pouty face that Lola couldn't resist. "Ughhhh. Don't make that face. You know that it melts my heart." After hearing that Kol smirked after knowing he just won against his girlfriend. Lola looked at her phone to check the time and her eyes widened in shock. Kol noticed her face and he said "What? What is it, baby?" She then looked at him and said "We're about to be late for the next meeting." Kol then remembered that they had another meeting to go to in a little bit.
Once they remembered that they had another meeting to go to they started to grab they're things and headed to the meeting room. While on their way they heard some noise from another room. At first they thought nothing of it, but that soon changed once they heard "Yes. This is his company. No, we don't need to kill everyone. We only need to kill Chan Kol, Lola Park, Jane Lee and Jamie Williams. That's it. Those were our instructions. But first, boss needs them alive." After hearing that They looked at each other and Lola said "We need Jane and Jamie to be with us at all times now." Kol was looking at her and just nodded his head in agreement. Once they reached the meeting room Lola took her phone and messaged Jane and Jamie in a four person group chat and said "After this meeting, come to Kol's office NOW!!!!" After they saw what she sent they started to get a little nervous, because one Lola never called her boyfriend by his actual name and second she never uses all caps unless something is wrong.
The meeting started and everyone was paying attention while Lola was half listening half not. Kol then noticed it and he grabbed her hand and started to caress it to calm her down. While the other company was almost done with the slideshow, Casey noticed that Kol was holding Lola's hand. While that was going on the meeting had ended and everything, but Casey walked up to Kol and yanked his hand from Lola and pulled Kol out of the room and dragged him to his office. Lola, Jane and Jamie were running down the hall to get to Kol's office. But once they got there they tried opening the door, but it was locked. They started to knock on his office door, but once they heard a gunshot they stopped. They were all very worried about what was happening, and who fired the gunshot. "Open the door, Kol. Please? Are you ok? Please answer me." Lola was saying from outside the office door. But they heard no response.
After Kol was dragged by Casey to his office she closed the door and locked it. "What are you doing, Casey? Why did you drag me to my office? What do you want?" Casey was just looking at him and said "If I can't have you then no one can. Leave that Lola bitch and come to me." After she said that before Kol could say anything they heard knocking on the office door. Just then Kol secretly went into his desk and grabbed a gun and pointed it at Casey, and at this point Casey was shivering out of fear. Kol shot her in the leg, but as the gunshot was heard he heard Lola asking him if he was ok. Kol then ran to the door and unlocked it and pulled them into the office. Once they all got inside they locked the door back and saw Casey bleeding. Lola hugged Kol like it was the last time they could see each other. Finally after a couple of minutes they broke the hug and looked at Casey who was still on the floor bleeding.
Casey was just looking at them with nothing but pain in her eyes because of her wound. Just then Lola said "Why did you drag him to his office and lock the door?" Casey was just smirking at them while they were waiting for her to answer the question that they all were wondering. "The plan was successful. They got y'all where they wanted y'all." Casey said while looking at them with an evil smirk. Just as she said that the office door was busted down and some men came in and pointed their guns at them.
