The Suprise

Once Lola was ready, she came down stairs. She looked at her friends with a confused expression on her face. "Lola, are you ok?" Jamie asked. She then looked at them with a weird expression and said "What do you mean, Jamie? Don't y'all know what today is?" They then looked at each other and said "It's Saturday." Once she heard them say that she was hurt badly. Then Kol looked at her and asked "Why? What's today, Lola?" She looked at them and said "Stop messing around, guys." But they just kept on playing along by looking at her confused. Then after a couple of minutes, she finally said "Nevermind." and walked off.
    Just then Kol saw her sad expression and said to Jane and Jamie "It hurts me to see her hurt like this." "Yeah, we can't either. But she'll love it tonight." Jamie added. After a couple of minutes, Lola came down and asked "Can we go shopping for a little bit?" Kol then answered "Yeah sure. See y'all later." Lola then looked a little confused about what just had happened. First, they don't even remember her birthday, and now it's only going to be her and Kol going shopping. Lola is shocked by this right now, because once they go shopping they all go, but today is different. "Where are y'all going?" Lola asked, confused. "Ohh, we are going to hangout by ourselves for a little bit." Jane answered. "Well, we're gonna go. Bye." she added.
    After Jane and Jamie left, they went to start setting up for the surprise party. A few minutes after they left, Kol and Lola also went shopping at the mall. While on the way there Lola was looking out the window once Kol spoke. "Lola?" Lola then looked at Kol and answered, "Yes." After a few minutes passed Kol finally asked "What is one place that you have always wanted to go to?" Lola didn't know how to answer that so she just said "I don't really know. No one has ever asked that before. Why?" Kol looked at her while she answered, but he could tell that she has never really been anywhere in a long time since Joshua wouldn't even let her do stuff with her friends and family.
    Soon enough, they got to the mall, and went inside. Kol looked at Lola and asked "So, where to go first?" Lola looked at him before answering "Let's go to the shoe store. I need some more shoes, for once I go out with Jane." Then they headed to the shoe store to get her some shoes. After getting some shoes they headed to the dress store to get some dresses, for once they went to a party. Lola was having a good time, then she looked at the time and it was almost six thirty. She then looked at Kol and said "It's getting late. We should probably get going." Kol then looked at her and said "Stay right here. Imma be right back." Lola looked confused at first, but then she stayed put.
    Kol had found a really beautiful dress that he thought would be perfect on Lola, and found her size and got it for her. The dress that he got her was a black and gold dress with straps that hang off the shoulder. Once he paid for the dress he came back to where he had left Lola, and then they went to the car and drove off. Once they reached the mansion, Jane and Jamie were already there dressed up. They pulled Kol to the side and said "Did she suspect anything?" Kol then looked over towards Lola and said "No. She was just shopping in the mall. But I did get her something that I want her to wear for her party tonight." They looked at Kol and said "Well, what is it?" Then Kol pulled them inside a bedroom and showed them the beautiful dress that he got Lola.
    Once they saw it they were so shocked that they almost had tears in their eyes, because of its beauty. Jane then said "OMG, that's so beautiful, Kol she will love it. But so you and Jamie go on ahead and go I will get her ready. And before you ask Kol. Yes I will get her to wear this." Kol then looked at Jane and replied "Ok. And thanks guys." Kol and Jamie then left to go to the venue. "Lola? Where are you?" Jane yelled from across the house. "I'm in my room, Jane." Jane then headed to Lola's room after hearing her. "Heyyyyy, bestie." When Lola turned around she saw Jane, and she hugged her best friend.
    "Come on Lola. Get ready." Lola then looked at her confused and said "For what? Where are we going?" Jane had to think of something to tell Lola, so she wouldn't notice anything. Jane then thought for a minute and said "We are going to Kol's girlfriend's birthday party." After hearing that Lola's heart shattered into pieces. "I'm good. I don't want to go. I'm tired." Lola said with a cold and sad expression, but Jane wasn't taking no for an answer. "Lola, come on and get ready please." Jane then showed her puppy eyes knowing that Lola can't say no to. Lola looked at Jane and finally said "Ok. Fine." Jane then looked so happy once she finally agreed. "Jane, I don't know what to wear to this party." Lola yelled. Jane then walked in with a bag and gave it to her and said "Here wear this one." saying that Jane left the room. After a few minutes, Jane then knocked on the door and walked in. "OMG, Lola you look so beautiful in that dress." Lola then looked in the mirror and was shocked by her beauty while in the dress. "Ok, come on, we need to go now." Jane said while looking at Lola.
    Lola put on some makeup and they left to go to the party. It was about thirty to thirty-five minutes to get to the venue where the party was. After arriving at the venue, Jane and Lola started to look for Kol and Jamie. "Where is Kol and Jamie?" Jane asked, looking around. Lola was still heart broken that the love of her life had a girlfriend. But eventually they spotted them and walked towards them. "WOW. Y'all look so beautiful." Jamie said. Then Jane and Lola looked at each other and said "Thanks Jamie. You look good yourself." Kol was looking at Lola the whole time, but then Lola realized that the lights were turned off. But then she looked down and once she looked back up, they were gone.
     She looked around, but still couldn't find them so she started to call their names. But still she got no answer. Then the light came on and what she saw shocked her. She saw the whole school in one place and her three best friends saying " SURPRISE. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOLA!!!!!!!" Lola then was smiling brightly like she just saw the most amazing thing you could ever see. But of course she did, she saw her school and her best friends telling her happy birthday. But she was a bit confused, where was Kol's girlfriend? She looked at her best friends and asked "Where is she?" Once Lola asked that they were so confused, they looked at her like she just lost her mind. "Who are you talking about, Lola?" Jamie asked, confused. "I'm talking about Kol's girlfriend. Jane said that Kol has a girlfriend. So where is she?" After hearing that Kol got down on one knee and said "She is standing right infront of me. Lola, ever since the first time I met you. I have loved you. And I know that we had just met about three to four months ago, but even at the party I fell for you. Once I first saw you at that party I just couldn't take my eyes off of you. You can say it was "Love at first sight" but I love you and I will always love you. I promise, I won't hurt you. Please accept me." After listening to that, Lola got down on her knees and hugged him and said "I feel the same way, Kol. So yes I accept you."
    Everyone looked and saw the scene that just happened, and they were so shocked and amazed about what just happened. Lola then didn't hesitate to lean in and kiss Kol on the lips. After a few seconds, they pulled away and connected their heads to each other. They were finally relieved and happy that they finally confessed their feelings. Jane and Jamie looked at them and said "Finally, it's about time. Gosh, we were waiting for this day to come for a long time." Kol and Lola looked at them and then each other and just laughed. "Happy birthday, Lola. And I'm really glad that you wore the dress that I got you today." Kol said looking at Lola with a happy face. "So, it was you who got me this dress? I thought Jane just gave me a dress to wear because I didn't have one." Lola said while looking at him with a smile.
    After a few minutes, they cut the cake, and opened presents. Lola was so happy and excited that they didn't forget her birthday, but what made her even more happy was that the love of her life was finally her's. Her two best friends and her new boyfriend helped her with her presents,and she loved them all. Just as she thought that nothing could ruin her birthday, she got another unexpected surprise. Everyone got shocked once they saw Joshua out of jail, and at her party. Joshua looked at them and said "There's a party? And I wasn't invited?" Lola got a little scared and said "What are you doing here, Joshua?" Joshua then looked at her and smiled like a creep and started to walk towards her. Lola got even more scared and started to shake in fear. Kol, Jamie and Jane got in front of Lola to keep Joshua away from her. But that didn't stop him from trying to get to her.
    Joshua was getting obsessed with Lola day by day. That's why he didn't let her go anywhere except to school and back home. "I need to talk to you, Lola. It's urgent." Joshua said, looking at her. But before he could get any closer to her, Kol looked at him and said "She's not going anywhere with you." It didn't take Jane and Jamie long to agree with Kol about Lola's safety. "Ok. I will go." They looked at Lola with widened eyes and she spoke. "But, They are coming as well. If you don't like that then it must not be that important." They then looked at Joshua and said "Like she said. We are coming as well." Joshua then looked a little pissed off because he wanted to talk to her personally in private, but he knew that wasn't going to happen. So finally he just agreed that they all would go. "Fine. But hurry up and follow me." Joshua said in a pissed off tone in his voice. They then followed him into a room that had no people in it and started to talk.
    "What do you want, Joshua? What was so important that you broke out of jail and came to my birthday party to tell me?" Lola asked, a little angry. Jane, Jamie and Kol were all looking at him waiting for him to answer the question along with Lola. Finally he answered by saying "Look, I need your help. I'm not in a good situation right now." They looked at him with a confused and shocked expression. "I'm sorry. But you came here to ask for help from me? Why the hell would I help, Joshua? Give me one good reason on why we should help you and maybe just Maybe we will help you." Lola said looking at him now pissed off. Joshua was a little hurt by her response, but he knew that she was right. He thought for a long time before answering. "Look, I know that what I did was wrong, but please you have to help me." He said on his knees begging for their help. "What kind of situation are you in?" Kol asked, a little confused. Joshua then looked at Kol and answered "There is someone trying to kill me. I don't know what I did to him, but he is trying to kill me. He keeps on following me everywhere I go, and I've asked him what I did but he won't tell me. He even did this to me." he said, showing the branded mark that the man left on him. What he showed them was the brand of a skull wrapped by a snake, and Joshua was so scared that he was about to cry.
    He was looking at them with teary eyes begging for their help, because they are the only ones who he can trust right now. "Why? Why come to us? Why not go to someone else to get help?" Jamie asked, looking at him. "Because y'all are the only ones who I can trust right now. Y'all are the only ones that I know who can help me." Joshua answered, looking down. But then Kol looked at the brand more closely and his eyes widened like he just saw a ghost. "What is it, Kol?" they asked, looking at him a little confused. "I know this brand. Who gave it to you?" Kol asked, shocked while still looking at it. "I don't know." Joshua answered.
