Shubhman's heart sank as his father's words echoed in his ears. The weight of his father's disappointment felt crushing, but he knew he had to face the consequences of his actions.

With a glimmer of hope, he mustered the courage to say, "I'll take the responsibility." He desperately hoped that these words would ease his father's anger.

In his mind, he imagined the relief that would wash over him if his father's anger subsided.

"Oh, that you have to my boy but,  how will you take responsibility" the chairman replied with a heavy sigh.

His father's words made it clear that the mess he had created was not going to be easily forgotten .

" I will help you with business" he said.

As Shubhman's words echoed in the air, he couldn't help but cringe at the weight they carried. Memories of rejecting his father's plea to join the family business flooded his mind, each one more vivid than the last. The regret gnawed at his conscience, reminding him of the opportunities he had missed .

His father's reply cut through the air, dripping with sarcasm.

"Ohh, so now finally Prince Shubhman decides his own way, after my so many polite attempts, it only took one angered look, to get you into the business i didn't know it was this easy" his father said, his tone laced with bitterness. The words stung, a reminder of the past disagreements and the strained relationship between them.

Shubhman fidgeting his fingers together was a clue to the father that he already scared his boy enough.

"Ok, now you have given me enough chances to not trust you and your work , so i guess it'll take time for me to have confidence  regarding the business, but i will give you a task related to promotion of the company "  his father said looking at him sharply.

"I'm in dad" the boy responded quickly.

"Interesting well,  because your over enthusiastic involvement is making me suspicious  " his father says and turns to grab the landline phone kept on his desk.

"Come in my office" chairman said to someone in authoritative ton

As the chairman's commanding voice echoed through the room, the door swung open, revealing a petite man with thick round-framed glasses. He had a short stature and was dressed in a crisp grey dress shirt and black pants, sans a coat. In his hands, he held an iPad, ready to assist in whatever task lay ahead.

With a nod from the chairman, the man stepped forward, his glasses glinting in the light.

"Meet Varun," his father introduced, pointing towards a young man standing beside him. Varun, the junior head of the promotion team, greeted Shubhman with a warm smile.

"Hello," Shubhman replied, feeling a bit unsure and hesitant.

However, his father's response was not as encouraging as he had hoped. With a disapproving click of his tongue, his father shook his head. "Tsk, tsk... That's not how you meet someone professionally," he said in a slightly harsh tone. "You need to brush up on a lot of your skills. But before that, you must know what work you will be doing."

Shubhman's heart sank a little, realizing that he still had much to learn. He eagerly awaited his father's explanation, hoping to gain a better understanding of his role and how he could improve.

Taking his brown leather seat, his father replied
"After the accusation, our company's stock value dropped by around 9.6%," his father revealed with a hint of frustration. "And we even lost several Indian business partners in the manufacturing field. It's crucial for us to rebuild our image as a nation-friendly company."

Shubhman's attention shifted to Varun, who stood confidently before them. Clasping his hands together, Varun presented his strategy to regain their reputation.

"Sir, as we aim to promote Empire Highs as a nation-friendly company, we need to make our presence known to every person in India," Varun explained passionately.

"Our team believes that a powerful marketing strategy would be to offer sponsorship for the Indian cricket team's jersey. In India, cricket is not just a sport, but a religion. By associating ourselves with the team, we can easily advertise our brand to a wide audience in a short amount of time."

The room fell silent as everyone absorbed Varun's idea. It seemed like a promising plan to rebuild their image and connect with the hearts of millions of cricket-loving Indians.

Apart from this sir we can conduct a charity gala, inviting politicians, businessmen and entertainment stars from all over India . Varun exclaimed in one go looking at the chairman and then glancing at shubhman.

"Indeed that's a good Idea , in this way we can also make some new business associates"the chairman replied enthusiastically.

"So shubhman are you ready to take over the promotion of empires highs "
His father asked him.
