Jimin's POV

Imagine living in a dimension where superheroes exist.

Sounds pretty cool right?

Wrong!

Crimes are no longer sorted by police, fires are no longer sorted by fire fighters, life saving is no longer down to doctors.

The fate of the entire population results on being saved by superheroes; a species that is much stronger then the entire race of humans.

If you're not a superhero, you're a basic bitch; you're vanilla.

Yet they say the odd few humans have the potential to be something more; something much more then the human they were born to be.

But they are pretty rare cases.

Yet it seems to always be destiny.

But how do these people even end up in these situations?

How does one get scientifically modified to become an invisible warrior? How does one survive when becoming a cyborg? How does one get bit by a spider and wake up sticking to the ceiling?

But why does superheroes have to be the saviour?

Are humans not the ones that designed the entire world for centuries before non-humans stepped into the light?

Humans are also destroying the world, but why not picture ourselves to be more powerful in this universe where anything seems to be possible if you strike lucky?

It has to be more then destiny and fate, but rather an act of chance.

However by chance, I am stuck being an ordinary student.

A short male, with black hair, beady eyes, and a massive heart that is too curious about everything that makes up the world, and super natural beings.

I could've been birthed by an alien, or been a merman, or even been a werewolf, but no... I'm a human.

A human who's imagination is limitless.

Yet I am restricted because I am poor, and because I am the most nerdy student that you could possibly find in all of South Korea.

So I have a lot of bullies, and a lot of enemies.

Little did I know that things around me soon would change.

Things much bigger then my wildest of dreams.

Yet for once, I seem to belong...

I find a sense of home...
