Author's note
Hey! I'll try to update more these few days because I'm going on vacation on the Christmas Holidays.
I'm trying to reach 1K before the end of 2023! Do you think we can do it? :D
There will be a lot of descriptions about the environment in this chapter. I haven't done much of that before so I want to try something new~
Anyways enjoy!

The leaves on the oak trees yellowed from autumn's delicate touch, presenting a beautiful shade of orange. Some, accompanied by a gentle gust of wind, let go of their branches, slowly drifting like a feather, returning into Mother Nature's warm embrace.
Yuji heard the rustling sounds of the trees when he stepped out of the school bus. The sky was a light shade of blue, contrasting with the orange hue of his surroundings. He smelled the sweet, fresh autumn breeze, along with the crunching sounds beneath his feet as he took a step towards the gates of his school, open and welcoming.
Megumi and Kugisaki were standing beside the entrance, beside a beautiful marigold bush. Kugisaki waved at the pinkette, beaming as she called his name. Megumi, with his usual static expression, broke a small smile as well. Yuji found himself waving back furiously, laughing while he jogged towards the other two.
He has only been absent for a day, but to Yuji, it felt like an eternity.
"Jujutsu high, I'm back again!"
---
"Fushiguro," Yuji poked the sleeping boy, who had his head buried in his arms, his black hair poking out in all directions.
They had just finished first-period, math, and they were now having recess in their classroom. The girls in the class, including Kugisaki, gathered together around the back of the classroom, chatting about what they did on the holidays. The boys were also gathered together next to the teacher's desk. A classmate of Yuji's, Junpei, invited the pinkette to join their group, which he kindly declined, not wanting to leave the half-asleep Megumi alone.
The pinkette patiently sat next to the boy with ebony color hair. Gently, he shook the sleeping boy, calling his name playfully.
Yuji widened his eyes when he heard soft snores.
Humming, the pinkette stopped shaking the boy. Resting his head on his chin, Yuji turned his head, positioning himself so he could stare out the window. The beautiful orange leaves fell slowly across the large window of the classroom, along with a lone squirrel that scurried across the branches, creating a soft rustling sound. The chirping of the sparrows rang in Yuji's ears; a pleasant, lifting tune.
Suddenly, out of the blue, Yuji felt an uncomfortable feeling. A vile feeling. As if something vicious was staring at him, studying him.
Then something caught his eye.
A tall man with pale skin. The man scurried behind the school building as soon as Yuji set his eyes on him. His back was facing the pinkette, so Yuji could get a glimpse of long, light-blue hair.
There seemed to be patchwork on the man's skin...?
Maybe I'm just hallucinating. Yuji thought, his brows furrowed together.
Yuji felt something tug on his uniform. The pinkette's attention snapped away from the window and on the ebony-haired boy next to him.
"Hmm, did I fall asleep?" Megumi murmured, rubbing his eyes drowsily.
"Did I wake you up?" Yuji asked nervously as the latter yawned.
"No," the ebony-color-haired boy muttered. "Sorry for making you wait."
Just as Yuji was about to reply, the bell rang, followed by the entry of their history teacher, Nanami-sensei.
"Class is starting, please be seated. I don't want to waste any energy shouting at you all." Nanami-sensei urged in his usual immobile tone.
That was their cue to take out their notebooks and stationery.

Satoru Gojo slouched on his seat. He was disinterested in his teacher's monotone teaching, as he already possessed the knowledge to ace any test the teacher assigned about the current topic. Humming, the whitehead ripped a sheet from his notebook, scrunching it with his left hand until it resembled a ball. Then, he threw it, watching as it flew across the classroom and hit Shoko, who was staring at the trashcan. Thanks to Gojo's amazing accuracy, it hit her square on the head. Gojo watched as she turned her head to face him, an irk mark forming on her forehead.
Gojo stuck his tongue out, his eyes rolling towards the ceiling.
Blegh~
Shoko, who was angelically smiling at the whitehead, slowly took out a knife from the fore pocket of her schoolbag, purposely showcasing the tip as it sparkled under the sunlight.
Sulking, Gojo turned his head away, avoiding Shoko's murderous stare.
Oh, Kowai! he thought, pouting as he leaned back on his seat. He found Shoko's reaction funny, but soon boredom swallowed him again.
He desperately needed someone to save him from this fatigue hell. Someone sweet and interesting, someone that can tolerate his annoyingness, someone that can he can engage a conversation with, someone that can appreciate his odd sense of humor.
Someone like Yuji.
Gojo unconsciously smiled as the pinkette appeared in his mind. After their departure the day before yesterday, he constantly had this desire to hang out with that boy again. It really is easy to get along with him, to become close with him, unlike others who stammer and blush when he tries to engage in a conversation.
WHO THREW A PAPER BALL AT SHOKO?
Gojo snapped back to reality by the thundering bellow from his teacher, who was standing next to Shoko, gripping the paper ball that Gojo threw. The whitehead noticed that the brunette had a devilish smirk smeared across her face. He stared with horror and betrayal as Shoko pointed at Gojo.
SATORU GOJO! COME TO MY OFFICE AFTER SCHOOL!
Shoko! How could you?!
