"So long as governments set the example of killing their enemies, private individuals will occasionally kill theirs."
- Elbert HubbardPart 1.
"I-I'm living with Mark? As in, Invincible?" Izuku sputtered out as he walked beside Cecil. A day had passed since he had seen Art and gotten his new costume ordered, but now after a morning training session, this bombshell had been dropped on the teen.
"Yes, that Mark." Cecil said with chagrin and rolled his eyes, "At any rate, you'll move in with the Grayson family after your first day of school tomorrow, does that sound good?" Cecil asked and Izuku nodded.
While he still a bit flustered, Izuku did know that Mark seemed like a nice person, so even though this caught Izuku off guard, he was okay with this outcome.
"Now that that's settled, did you talk to Art about your new costume?" Cecil asked and Izuku nodded along, remembering the older man and the pleasant conversation he had about heroes, smiling warmly to himself.
"Good, he'll have that done by midweek most likely, so until then you'll have to manage in those rags."
Izuku, who had lost his smile and even for a moment felt a bit offended by that comment, was caught off guard when a familiar hand was placed on his shoulder.
"I know that costume means a lot to you, so I'll have my people try to fix it up as best as we can once your new suit comes in, hopefully it won't be too tight once you got your hands on."
After a moment of thought and without much fight, tears began to fall down in droves from the teens eyes, very reminiscent of his younger years.
Izuku internally hated that he was acting like this again, but irregardless of that, he was still thankful for the words and promise from Cecil.
In return, the scarred man got to see a bit more of a glimpse at who Izuku really was behind the tough exterior he presented. It would take time and it would take effort, but with people like Eve and Mark, the man was sure that Izuku would exit his shell. And for him at least, that would mean the hero would be at 100%.
That was something that the man needed, desperately.
"Now then, here's some money, go get yourself school supplies kid."
Izuku, now looking down at an envelope with cash in it, wiped his nose and tears from his eyes and nodded.
"R-right."

On a normal Sunday, most of the adults in the world would be relaxing. Some on the couch with a movie or some American football, some outside with their kids playing games, or some just sleeping in and staying in bed all day before the work week.
But for Cecil, it was anything but relaxing. The man, who lead the American hero division of the government, found himself in his control room looking over many monitors.
He sighed to himself as he sipped his third cup of coffee, the smell of black coffee with the smallest hint of cream entering his nostrils as he drank.
"How is Nolan doing?" He would ask, his voice loud and at no one in particular.
One of the many employees stood up and looked to the scarred man, then spoke.
