Giyuu 🌊

Idk bout you but he's one of the KNY characters i most want to be real

Kept the mask Urokodaki made for him for the Final Selection and still has it to this very day (though he doesn't take it out as much for it reminds him of the past)

Probably overworked himself time and time again before becoming a Hashira which became a sort of habit that eventually gave him a feeling of almost comfort as it was his way of venting out his emotions

Shinobu told him to stop doing that but there's a 2% chance he actually stopped

After the Infinity Castle Arc he and Nemi (i didn't put this in Sanemi's page bc I forgot-) would go to the graves of all the demon slayers and Hashira's (occasionally accompanied by Tanjiro and the others) the day Muzan died and the birthdays of the Hashira

Giyuu probably told Senjuro stories abt Kyojuro (thought the two hadn't been close Kyojuro spoke to him lots)

Mitsuri and Kyojuro were the ones who spoke to Giyuu the most in terms of casual conversation

Shinobu+Kyojuro poked Giyuu a lot and made him play Uno 100 times /j (this one's a joke bc of this one video that has become a sort of silly canon between my sister and I-)

Shinobu never meant the things abt Giyuu not having friends in a mean way; she'd been trying to become his friend in a way to say "you don't have friends lemme be yours" but she sucked at asking and failed :3 

Giyuu believed he was doomed to be friendless and by himself forever so he closed himself off from the Hashira in fear that they would die too like Tsutako and Sabito-

He and Muichiro are close 

Like.... brothers

Bc they're both kinda absentminded and silent and just like it that way

They both probably have sat down and made flower crowns for a couple hours before

Sabito and Giyuu used to make flower crowns and he gets upset sometimes while making them w/ Mui

Later, Tanjiro told Giyuu that he'd met Sabito before and since it was obviously impossible Giyuu was convinced for the rest of his life that Tanjiro, being so pure and kind, must be able to see the deceased who went to heaven and asked if he'd ever seen Tsutako (much to Tanjiro's confusion)

Giyuu kept Tsutako's hairpin (the only thing he took from his house after her death)

The villagers of his village as a child all blamed him for the most random shit to the point someone once said that HE must've killed Tsutako 💀 (idek if this is canon or not I just saw it somewhere and it stuck...)

Giyuu ran away cuz of that and Urokodaki, who had been on a walk out just to keep his senses well, had run into Giyuu who had been unconscious on the ground having run so far for so long and just... yep. 

He waited until Giyuu awoke and asked him to go home with him and then he met Sabito and yk the rest

Giyuu is either Bi or Gay depending on the AU-

Sometimes, after Tsutako died and he got a little more used to the fact and was able to think about her without sobbing his little heart out, and he was in a tough situation he would think "if Nee-San was in this situation... what would she do?"

Was touched by Tanjiro's kindness and compared him to Tsutako

Partially the reason he cared sm abt him hehe

Mitsuri reminded Giyuu of Tsutako in some ways so he let her talk to him (might be canon...?)

Actually got along well with Sanemi after everything ;-;

(I'm going to keep writing more of Giyuu cuz i love him 🤩)

When he was alone he would use Tsutako's clip and put it in his hair where he ties it up just as a little rememberence

Later found Tsutako's grave in his old village and being all grown up+he'd cut his hair, the villagers didn't recognise him

Then he stated his name and the person he'd been trying to visit (more like the grave but yk) and ppl were like... shocked he'd lived (the ones that remembered him)

Honestly they would've forgotten abt him if it wasn't for the fact that his situation had been the talk of the decade for a long time...

Some people welcomed him gratefully while others were skeptical

But he seemed somewhat the same as he smiled more now and so they eventually got used to him

I like to think Giyuu went back and fixed up his old house and even maybe introduced it to Nemi or the Kamaboko Squad ^w^

I love him sm-

Also visited Urokodaki lots after

He had Urokodaki make him a mask near to identical to Sabito's (It had been like almost a decade so Urokodaki's memory of it was a bit rusty LMAO) and then Giyuu hung it on his wall to see whenever he slept+along with Tsutako's bow

Talked to Tengen and his wives more after as well

They helped him occasionally and Hinatsuru designed some clothes to be more easier fitted for Giyuu's missing arm

Adopted the Kamoboko Squad /j (no but they seem him as someone to look up to)

Bro is STILL shit at socilizing. 

I think he died before Nemi? His bday is in Feb and Sanemi's is in Nov and they're the same age

So when Giyuu died, the Kamaboko squad and the former Hashira (Nemi+Tengen) and Kiriya and yk blah blah blah-- They were all with him and Sanemi carried on their tradition of going to the graves until he died as well

Tengen carried it on for the rest of his life :3! 

And he also cared for the Kamaboko Squad in place of Giyuu who obviously couldn't

They prolly had Sanemi and Tanjiro buried near Giyuu once those two died

(i just realized Tanjiro died at 25 and the rest of the Kamaboko Squad was still alive- i'm gonna cry-)

OH AND ONE LAST THING BC WE'RE ABT TO HIT 1000 WORDS 💀

Giyuu and the others took therapy (Aoi forced them all to) bc of everything and whoever the fuck was their therapist........................ well they could only pray for their own mental health 🫠
