It caught me off guard in the best way possible. She never fails to surprise me. It's like she has this magical ability to bring a spark of excitement and unpredictability into my life. She is keeping me on my toes and makes every moment with her feel like an adventure. And I wouldn't lie it makes me want to keep coming to her for more.
She quickly tugged her pallu on the sides of her waist and started walking ahead of me. She was annoyed at this point and I could see it on her face. We kept walking unless and until we reached the middle of the road which had two splits Left & Right Respectively.
"Chaliye Hum right mein chalenge". [Come on we will go right now] she said
"Nope I think left will lead us to the main road and we can ask for lift". I replied.
"And what if we get stuck in the forest!?". She questioned...
"No we won't, My directions are always correct."
She huffed and followed me. We kept walking in silence, when she said....
"What if the direction I said turned out to be correct?".
"What do you want me to say Mrs. Raivansh!?".
"Hmmm... Let me think about it, How about we keep a bet about who is right and whoever loses gets to grant the winner whatever they want!?".
"Okay?" She asked...
"Fine, Then you should I already came up with my wishes, because we'd be reaching the main road in few seconds". I said and she rolled her eyes.
"You wish!!". She retorted.
We kept walking and there was no sign of the us reaching the main road. And before I could speak further I slipped and fell down *keechad*
"Aap gadhe ke saath saath ullu bhi hai!!?". She said [You are a donkey as well as an owl]
"WHAT!?" I snapped at her.
She started coming closer to where I fell.
"Mujhe laga aap sirf gadhe hai but you are an ullu too, par ulluon ko toh raat mein dikhta hai and aapko nahi and........" [I thought you were only a donkey but you are an owl too, but owls can see in the night and you couldn't......]
*Boom* She fell too. Huh!! She gave me a grin. Finally Mrs. Chatterbox became quiet and gave me an embarassing grin.
"Few minutes ago someone was taunting me, and now who is a donkey?".
She cleared her throat and her gaze didn't meet mine. A snort left my mouth at her actions.
"Enough of all This Mr. Raivansh now help me out". She ORDERED me.
Key word- ORDERED
"While asking for someone's help you gotta be polite Mrs. Raivansh". I said and she let out a huffed sigh.
"Mr. Raivansh Can you PLEASE help me!!". She said stressing on the word please.
I helped her get up and we started walking up the direction she had pointed out in the very beginning. We kept walking and our breathing never seemed to calm down. We reached the main road and she patted my back, she stood with hands on her knees, sweat all over her face and those elongated breathing.
"Aapko Aaj ek life mantra seekhne ko mila?". She questioned [Did you learn about a new life mantra today]
"And what is that Mrs. Raivansh".
"That, a wife is always right. If you want to live a happy life always keep your wife happy and that can only happen when you will listen to her". She smiled and patted my back again
"Okay Madam noted. Now can I ask for help?". I said
"Oh please let it be I'll do that!". She retorted
As filmy as it sounds what she did next blew my mind. She whistled and a truck stopped in front of us I mean what?? She went to the driver and I followed her behind.
[Can you please drop us to the Raivansh Mansion? Please it will be very helpful for us]
The driver an old man immediately smiled looking at her.
"Ismein please kya putar ji, Fatfat Chad jao, mein aapko chod deta hoon". He said
[I will leave you both climb up quickly]
Mrs. Raivansh quickly thanked him and went behind the truck and got in. She looked at me blinking her eyes?
"Come on Mr. Raivansh get in what are you waiting for Christmas?".
"I.... I mean I've never done this..... This is ....... Very new for me". I stuttered And she smiled.
"Life is full of new things Mr. Raivansh, hop in I promise this is going to be so fun".
She chirped excitedly, and I climbed in too, she sat down and I followed her she tapped inside the truck, indicating the driver that we were settled and hence he started driving.
One had to believe that she is Calm but chaotic at the very same time!! Our marriage revolves around nothing, but the way I am getting attached scares me. Everytime I look at her my eyes seem to lose control they don't know how to stop looking at her. Even now when I look at her she looks angelic, her hair flowing along the breeze and that subtle smile never leaving her face.
"What is your favourite colour Mrs. Raivansh"? I asked
"What?". She giggles at my sudden question
"Red colour has always been my favourite". She replied
"Why"? I asked her again?
"There is no specific reason,but Well you know how red is such a vibrant and passionate color? It's like a burst of energy and excitement. Whenever I see red, it just makes me feel alive and full of life! It's like a fire burning inside me, igniting my passion and drive. By the way What's your favorite color? She asked me
