✎ In which Jaehyun and Taeyong hang out in the dorm alone as the members are out enjoying themselves. Everything was fine until Taeyong brought up what they did last Christmas

"Want some?"

The oldest asked as Jaehyun made his way into the kitchen where he seen his friend make some eggnog. He shrugged and nodded before he thanked him and took a sip when handed a cup. He sipped the liquid before coughing roughly as Taeyong stared at him in panicked seeing his friend choke.

Taeyong immediately went over and began to pat at his back to somehow ease the coughing which did seem to help as Jaehyun was calming down. Jaehyun looked at the older before he shook his head.

"That's not eggnog! It's too strong- oh my-"

Taeyong held in a laugh seeing Jaehyun cough again only slightly as himself shrugged and went back over to the counter where he tasted his homemade eggnog only to hum in satisfaction making Jaehyun fake gag slightly.

"Well, I like it"

"Of course you do- give that to, I dunno, gordon ramsay and he'll call you a failure or idiot sandwich"

Jaehyun replied to taeyong before he made himself some hot chocolate. Who doesn't love hot chocolate? It was Jaehyun's favorite hot drink to have during the holidays especially with some candy canes or marshmallows.

"He'll love it! You just don't like eggnog like the rest of us"

The older said with a slight scoff to his tone as he watched jaehyun make his hot chocolate before he mumbled a 'betrayer' underneath his breath. Jaehyun luckily hear as he happily sipped his hot beverage with a smile after loving the taste on his tongue.

"Myself likes a good eggnog, just professionally made from a cafe or something- not like that! That's not eggnog, that's basically bourbon and the slightly hit of the other stuff, not eggnog"

Taeyong rolled his eyes at his friends comments about his homemade drink but he couldn't be bothered to go off at his antics, he has priorities. The younger shrugged as he continues to sip his hot chocolate as he leaned against the kitchen counter looking over to taeyong before to the living room where it was beautiful decorated with christmas stuff.

The tree beside the fireplace and decorated with the lights that was illuminating the other christmas stuff around the place. The couple stockings on the fireplace for decoration, the rug in front of the said fireplace that had the traditional colors of the holidays and the candy canes pillows on the sofa with fake snow carpet draped over to give that illusion of a snowfall.

"What's that?"

Jaehyun asked causing the older to stop mixing his ingredients for the cookies he was baking and looked over to the direction to the younger was looking before shrugging and eventually had everything ready as he placed them in the oven to bake. Jaehyun placed his cup down on the counter before going over and looking up at the thing in between the open arch door from the kitchen to the living. He looked up to see a mistletoe which made jaehyun have butterflies in his stomach. Who's ideas was this?

"What is it?"

Jaehyun almost jumped hearing the older beside him causing him to turn and slightly punch his shoulder as a warning as the older chuckled before muttering a sorry but he looked at the mistletoe with a frown on his face before it turned into a raise eyebrow as he looked at jaehyun.
