Cheerleading contest

Toni noticed Cheryl was getting nervous so she decided to go to the backstage.

"Babe," Toni said as she reached for Cheryls arm, a warm smile on her face.

Cheryl hadn't seen her coming so she was caught off guard by her girlfriends presence. "Toni!" She said as she pulled the pink haired girl in a tight hug.

"You seemed pretty tense. Is everything okay?" Toni said, her hands playing with Cheryls fingers.

"Yeah. Im totally fine! Do I appear to be otherwise?" The redhead tried to sound confident.

The shorter girl raised her eyebrow, telling Cheryl she wasn't being fooled.

"Okay..maybe Im a tiny bit stressed.." Cheryl gave up.

"Babe, your routine is perfect! And with you as the teams leader Im sure you're gonna pull it off.." Toni said as she caressed the redheads arm.

Cheryl looked at Toni with adoration as a wide smile conquered her face. "What would I do without you, TT!"

Their lips met each other in a warm kiss.

"Next, in our stage will shine 'Riverdale Highs' cheer team, 'The Vixens'!" The commentator said.

A rush of anxiety passed through Cheryl. The vixens gathered around her, getting ready for their performance.

"Just know that you're amazing.." The pink haired girl said as she gave Cheryl one last peck before going back to her seat.

"Was she okay?" Betty asked. She was sitting next to Toni.

"Yeah, just a bit stressed-" Toni was cut off by the starting of the music.

The team entered in five lines and of course in the middle was Cheryl, who had the brightest smile on her. All the anxiety she had, seemed to be gone. Well, not gone but hidden behind that smile.

The team does their routine, everything perfect and well coordinated. Its almost as if they're robots. Everything is so in sync.

Toni keeps her eyes only on one person though. Cheryl moves gracefully. She is able to coordinate the squad only by her movement. Its no surprise she's the capitain.

Her short skirt moves flawlessly, following the movements of her hips. Toni loves seeing Cheryl dance. She loves how well the redheads body moves to the beats.

Four girl raise Cheryl up. Now shes only balancing on their hands. She does her iconic high leg raise and the music stops. Everyone starts cheering applausing.

Cheryls eyes meet Toni as she gives her a smirk. Toni swears she could faint right now but she holds herself for the sake of Cheryl.

The redhead winks at Toni before jumping off the girl and heading to the backstage.

"You two are adorable!" Betty said, earning a confused look from Toni. "Yes its that obvious."

"Ladies and gentlemen! After this incredible contest, filled with talented students, its time to announce the winner!" The presenter said before opening an envelope.

The capitains of every team stand in a line next to the grand trophy.

"The third place goes to...'Verdant Valley Highs' the 'Enigma's'!" A loud round of applause and cheering explodes.

"The second place goes to...'Riverdale Highs', 'The Vixens'!" The bulldogs do their usual barks as everyone starts cheering. All the girls look proud and happy. Well, exept Cheryl. Sure she has a smile on her face but Toni know that isnt a good one. She knows Cheryl is pissed.
