Emma.

It is officially moving day for Trisha and David, and I am honestly so excited. Lacey and I spent the whole day there yesterday helping them pack everything up into boxes, David and I done one trip late last night and unloaded all of the boxes into the living room of the new house. Trisha is most likely going to kill us when she sees the mess we've already made, but it's not as if I'm not going to help unpack them all so it's fine.

Today it's mostly the big items, like the sofa, the bed, all the kitchen appliances. We didn't want to leave them without anything last night, so decided to leave the larger items for last.

I'm upstairs with David dismantling the bed, while Lacey and Trisha pack up the last of the boxes downstairs.

"So how's fatherhood?" I ask him while removing slats from the bed.

"Honestly it's incredible, I was so scared at first, but I'm a little bit obsessed with him" David chuckles.

"Yeah Trisha has said something about that" I laugh.

"What did she say?" He asks.

"Just that you literally won't leave him alone, you get back from work and you just want to hold him" I smile "it's sweet"

"I just miss him when I'm at work you know, having the first two weeks with him was amazing, but then having to go back to work and leaving Trisha curled up in bed with him in the basket beside her, it's a lot harder than I thought it would be. I'm scared of the things I'm going to miss you know" He shrugs.

"He's only a month old David, he mostly sleeps" I chuckle.

"I know, but he makes some really funny and cute facial expressions in his sleep, and these cute little coo noises"

"You really are obsessed" I smirk.

"I'm not sure what you want from me, I'm a family man" He shrugs.

"I know, honestly it's a good thing and I am so happy that Trisha found you and chose you. you really are an amazing guy David" I smile.

"Uh are you coming on to me?" David jokes.

"Ew gross, you're like my brother" I laugh.

We finish taking the bed apart, making sure to keep all of the screws in a ziplock bag so we don't lose any. We take the bed downstairs and load it up onto the van, before making ourselves useful in the kitchen and carrying the heavier items out to the van, Lacey and Trisha both watching us from the doorway, laughing at our struggles as we keep bumping into things.

"You could help you know" I growl at them.

"Uh honey no, we're woman. Not strong enough sorry" Trisha laughs.

"No one said you had to carry anything you wimp! Could at least stop us from bumping into things"

"Did you just call me a wimp?" Trisha asks.

"Yes, yes I did"

"Can you two do this later? This washing machine is heavy you know" David grunts.

"Sorry" I apologise and quickly begin walking backwards once more.

It takes us a couple more hours before the house is finally empty, the only thing left to do is strap Jayden into the car.

"I can't believe we're leaving" Trisha stands in the empty living room, looking forlorn.

"I know but it's for the best, we needed more space and you'll be closer to your best friend" David smiles wrapping Trisha up in his arms.
