"Why does math have more X's than English?" Jungkook whispered into Taehyung's ear. They were in math class, and the question seemed to have been bothering him for a while.
"Umm, I don't know?" Taehyung replied, slightly confused by the question. Jungkook nodded thoughtfully.
"I should ask Namjoon Hyung! Yes, he has an IQ of 148," Jungkook said with a determined look. Taehyung rolled his eyes at the mention of Namjoon's name.
"No need to go to him," Taehyung said firmly.
"Why not? I'm curious," Jungkook insisted.
"Put your curious bumbum down and listen to that bald old man," Taehyung said, referring to their math teacher. Jungkook nodded with a pout, reluctantly turning his attention back to the lesson.

Later, Jungkook and Taehyung were heading to the canteen. As they walked, a girl approached them and stood in front of Taehyung.
"Could you please come with me for a moment? I need to confess something to you," the girl said, her voice shy and hesitant. Jungkook rolled his eyes, expecting Taehyung to brush her off as he usually did. But to his surprise,
"Okay then! Let's go! Wait, you go first. I'll follow after a few seconds," Taehyung said. The girl nodded happily.
"Let's meet in the library? I'll be waiting for you," she said before leaving with a hopeful smile.
"What the heck? Why did you say yes to her when you know she's going to propose to you?" Jungkook asked angrily, his emotions bubbling to the surface.
"Why are you mad? Aren't you happy for me? I'm old enough, Kookie. I should get a girlfriend now. Don't you think I'm too single?" Taehyung said softly, trying to reason with him. Jungkook looked at him with an expression of disbelief.
"So, y-you're telling me that you're going to accept her?" Jungkook asked, his voice breaking as he felt a sharp pain in his heart.
"Wait for me at the canteen. I'll come quickly," Taehyung said, reaching out to hug Jungkook, but Jungkook pushed him away slightly.
