Y/N placed his beer bottle down on the table and with his other hand dug into his pocket and slapped some money on the table before getting out of the chair and turning to walk away from the table. He had spent longer than he should have here, but he had to admit Jane was good company. Maybe it was the alcohol talking but there was something about her... it made him forget his troubles. That was all he wanted. But the road to his physical recovery still wasn't done. He might have been discharged from the hospital, but he had nowhere to go. Y/N had no desire to return to his home where it would be empty, devoid of Erin and Andrew. Thankfully his nurse, Elle was kind enough to let him know of a hotel not to far from the hospital, but he knew it was only a temporary arrangement while he was dealing with lawyers and such to handle the home while his in laws, or rather his FORMER in laws took whatever they wanted. He didn't care. They could sell it all for what it was worth and rent it as an air bnb; his job could accommodate him moving. The only question was where. But he would worry about that later. For now, he had better walk off the alcohol and get back to the hotel before it got too late. He would have to go back to the hospital before he left La and thank Elle. She really was one of the few friends he made here, as professional as their relationship was.

There was Leigh as well, though he wouldn't exactly describe their relationship as "friendly" since the most that happened was him being indebted to her for getting him to the hospital after the accident. Sure, he did think she was attractive, and they shared the trauma of losing someone (or so Y/N believed since she never did state her reason for being at group.) but he couldn't imagine that was enough for her to kiss him at that moment. Y/N shook his head. Either way it didn't really matter. He knew that he wasn't looking for a relationship anyway. Maybe he was reading too much into the situation as it was. He turned his head to look back at Jane who was glossy eyed as she stared at him, her own beer bottle in hand. "Thanks for the company Jane." He told her, and the bronde haired woman nodded before raisin her bottle "Lets do this again sometime... I'll be here again tomorrow." She told him. Y/N nodded, before walking out of the bar and into the empty streets of LA. If he looked back, he would have noticed the hurt look on Janes face. Alas he did not, walking down the street in no direction in particular. Jane watched him leave through the window and she let out a breath that she hadn't realized she had been holding. She placed a hand on her chest trying to calm her beating heart "What have I done?" she whispered.

Elle found herself at Laura's apartment. After leaving her house and her cheating husband behind, she called her friend who graciously set her up in the guest bedroom with some spare cloths and a warm shower. Elle had spent almost an hour underneath the warm spray of the shower curled up in a ball her tears mixing with the water. How could she be so blind. Ford had always been on the phone more recently ever since he came back from his tour. His routine never changed otherwise, but Elle also spent more time at the hospital than she did with Ford. An easy explanation for how he got away with everything. Given he had been home from tour for several months the affair had to have been going on for roughly the same amount of time if not longer. Elle sobbed realizing she would have to get tested for her safety. She would have said she trusted Ford to be safe but his hiding an affair definitely destroyed that possibility. She didn't understand why he would do this to her and how this would affect their son. Sam was not so young that he wouldn't understand what was wrong here but Elle was in o condition to think about the next steps that she would have to take.
