Spike's Back

Backstory

Chase got hurt really badly when they were fighting the shapeshifters. He fought through it, worsening the injury. It was so bad he had been knocked out cold for nearly a week. Adam and Leo got really worried about chase so they rushed over as fast as they could and have been cooped up in the command center for nearly four days, refusing to leave their brothers side.

Kaz's P.O.V.

There was a groan from the cot across the command center and chase was immediately crushed in a hug by Adam, who was promptly flipped on his back.

I stared in shock as Oliver half shouted, "Since when could Chase do that!"

Adam just groaned so Bree responded for him, "He can't."

This time it was Skylar who spoke up, "But he just DID!"

Bree just rolled her eyes and glared at Chase, "Spike! Apologize to your brother!"

"You can't make me," It was Chase that spoke but his voice was a lot deeper than normal.

"I can't make you, buuuuuuut I can withhold all of my gossip from the past year you were gone." Bree stated before sticking her tongue out at Chase, or Spike, whichever he is.

Chase/Spike gasped, "You wouldn't dare, also, don't think your the only one with gossip, I live with Chase." 

Bree also gasped but this one was a gasp of interest not hurt, "Like what?"

Chase/Spike looked around the room at his siblings, "Ya know, Chase's taste has really improved since his crazy android 'brother'," he stated sarcastically using air quotes around brother, 

Adam and Bree both gasped but Leo just looked annoyed, "So THAT'S why he didn't believe me. That is just harsh."

"I don't know why but there is like a weird like static feeling in here that kind of reminds me of Grace." Spike/Chase whispered to himself through a laugh before getting up and helping Adam to his feet.

"Why are you here Spike?" Adam groaned.

"Chase felt guilty for not letting me meet the supes earlier, also I can heal faster than he can currently, so you guys are stuck with me for a little while." Spike/Chase stated before a metal water bottle flew into his hand with a loud slap.

"What is going on!" I shouted, first one of my best friend gets knocked out for a week and then when he wakes up he isn't acting at all like himself.

"Oh ya right," Chase/Spike walked over to me and held out his hand, "Hi. I'm Spike. I am Chase's other personality."

I shook his hand hesitantly, "Hi? I'm Kaz. And what do you mean exactly other personality?"

"Oh ya, We have D.I.D." Spike turned to Bree without any further explanation, "And I believe we have some gossip to catch up on."

Bree rolled her eyes, "Yes we do; Do you want to come with (us) Skylar?"

"I don't want to intrude on your sibling bonding." Skylar stated.

"Trust me, you aren't. And I feel like I would learn more with two of the elite force members instead of just one." Spike stated as he leaned against the counter next to me, his arm brushing against mine, flinching slightly when I accidentally shocked him.

"Well then let's go." Almost immediately after Skylar said that, Bree rushed all three of them into the Hyper-Lift.

"Soooo um? What do you guys do for fun around her?" Adam asked.

"We used to patrol the city but we don't really need to do that so we could go get some froyo? Maybe we could do an escape room?" Oliver looked to me for confirmation but I was still trying to figure out what just happened with Spike.
