Author's Note: Heyyo! PEOPLE!!! Hope you are enjoying the book so far! And to be honest, don't worry about the M rating because most of it happens more later in the book (around the middle I guess?) so let's see what happens here!

Gemma stayed up all night thinking about that strange samurai,

Yes! Yesterday she was assigned to capture the Samurai and failed because of her stupid mind playing games on her.

Just as she found the Samurai pointing his sword at her she held eye contact with him.

Gemma knew that the Samurai was a he,

But it was just strange when she held eye contact with him.

It looked like she was looking at herself in the mirror,

But why?

She had to stop and as smoke filled the area, the samurai disappeared!

The only thought she had in her head was the fact the samurai had similar eyes to her.

She soon felt so tired as she had her hands on her head as she looked at the newspapers on the desk.

It was about 1 am and she hadn't got to sleep yet,

To be honest, Ever since Gemma lost her love she couldn't sleep well at night.

She went through a lot of tough thoughts and lots of stress and anxiety,

And she had dreams that were memories or just surreal ones that she wished would happen!

She soon rested her head on the table as she fell asleep,

She has been going through a lot after she failed to catch the samurai.

She even got yelled at by Sarge and was forced to run 75 laps around camp which got her energy levels so low that at one point she would faint.

She remembered the horrible sensation when she ran laps around the camp, that burning sensation in her stomach and lungs.

The sharp pain in her legs made them wobble after she stopped,

It was terrible!

But it was not the worst punishment she would get,

There were times she was forced to do more than 100 push-ups.

Or she would have to do a 5-hour long plank,

Some days Sarge would force her to do upper body exercises where she was forced to keep going and not stop.

Sometimes it got her mad and she would just scream back at Sarge because it caused her great pain and she couldn't keep up.

She hated getting punished but when she made the smallest mistake she would get a huge punishment.

It wasn't like if you make a mistake you can fix it,

It was more like you get stabbed in the back for just making a small mistake!

At times, Sarge understood the situation but today she wasn't buying it.

"Okay take a break folks!" Sarge yells and Gemma grabs her lunch and puts her sunglasses on,

As she ate lunch she decided to maybe get to know the lady she saw earlier.

Yes! During the morning she saw a new member of the army and she remember feeling her mechanical heart beating 100 times per millisecond or there was just another problem with it that she might have to fix later.

But it was the feeling of falling in love again,

It couldn't be though,

Wouldn't falling in love with a woman feel... weird???
