Ofsam's POV

I had sent a note to Commander Golbach letting him know I needed to discuss something with him. That it was important. One night after I had begun getting ready for bed, Anastasia came to my door and handed me a note.

"Commander Golbach would like to see you in his office"

I nodded at her and smiled, "Thank you..."

I got myself back into my red handmaids attire and went politely back downstairs to the Commander's office. I knocked politely and awaited his response.

"Come in..." he said. I opened his office door and he was waiting at his desk in his large leather chair .

I went and knelt politely on the carpet beside his desk.

"No ma'am, have a seat in one of the chairs." he siad.

"yes commander..." I said.

"Please, call me Sam..." he said gently coming to sit in one of the chairs across from me, "Now what did you need to speak to me about."

"Um, the um, ceremonies.... they've been, wonderful," I said gently. I had been enjoying having sex with him and i was climaxing every single time we had been together. I wanted him to know that.

Sam raised an eyebrow, not expecting that to be the topic of discussion. He took a deep breath and responded carefully. "I'm glad you find them... enjoyable," he said, trying not to let his own desires show. "Is there something specific you wanted to discuss about the ceremonies?"

I blushed, realizing that maybe it wasn't the best idea to share my thoughts so openly. But I had already opened the door to this conversation, so I decided to continue. "I just wanted to know if there's any way we could make them... even better?" I asked hesitantly.

Sam looked at me thoughtfully as if he was trying to understand what I was getting at. After a moment of silence, he leaned forward in his chair and spoke softly. "Ofsam," he began, using my handmaid name, "the ceremonies are a necessity for us to fulfill our duty in this society. But if you have suggestions on how we can make them more comfortable or pleasurable for both of us, I'm open to hearing them."

My heart raced as I found the courage to voice my desires. "What if they were more private. It is quite awkward and a bit embarrassing to have the crowd there... and your wife, sir, grips quite hard on my arms while holding me down..."

Sam looked genuinely taken aback by my confession. He hesitated for a moment, clearly trying to formulate his thoughts. "I understand your concerns, Ofsam," he finally said, choosing his words carefully. "The presence of my wife and the others during the ceremonies is seen as a necessary custom, but I can see how it might cause feelings of discomfort and awkwardness for you."

I felt a small sliver of relief as he acknowledged my feelings, but it seemed that changing our situation was not going to be easy. "The rules around the ceremonies are quite inflexible, Ofsam," he admitted, his voice heavy with concern. "However, I will give thought to what you've said and see if there is any way we can make this easier for both of us without breaking any laws or drawing undue attention."

We sat in silence for a few heavy moments as Sam seemed lost in thought. I couldn't help but feel a mixture of hope and fear as I waited for him to speak again.

Finally, Sam looked up at me with a determined expression. "I find myself more inclined towards honoring your request than strictly adhering to the customs," he admitted quietly. "In all honesty, I share your discomfort with the current ceremonial practices. Perhaps we could work together to find a mutually agreeable alternative."

A small smile crept onto my lips as Sam offered this potentially life-changing prospect. "That would be wonderful," I said softly, feeling truly hopeful for the first time in what felt like an eternity.

The following day was a whirlwind of unspoken tension and stifled excitement as I awaited any news from Commander Golbach about our conversation from the previous night. My duties as a handmaid kept me busy enough during the day that my mind didn't wander too often, but during quieter moments I couldn't help but wonder if our situation would truly change.

As dusk settled in, I found myself back in my room, preparing for bed. I couldn't help but feel a flicker of disappointment that the day had come and gone without any word from Sam. However, just as I was wrapping myself in a blanket and settling into my bed, I heard a soft knock at my door.

Anastasia entered my room, holding a small envelope in her hands. My heart immediately began to race as I considered what it might contain.

I took it from her with trembling hands and, unable to speak, simply nodded my thanks. Anastasia gave me a sympathetic smile before closing the door behind her.

I stared at the envelope for a moment, afraid of what it might contain. Would it be good news or bad news? My curiosity eventually overtook my fear, and I carefully opened it. Inside was a neatly folded note with Sam's unmistakable handwriting. It read:

"Ofsam,

After careful consideration and much thought, I have come up with a plan that I believe might work for us. Tonight, after everyone has retired for the evening, meet me in my office. There is an unused room adjacent to it that I believe will serve our purposes well. We can perform the ceremony there with more privacy and fewer chances of being discovered.

To put minds at ease and continue the illusion of normalcy, we will need to continue as we have been during our group ceremonies. However, we can also meet in this private room on off nights when we are less likely to be missed.

This arrangement will require both trust and discretion on our parts, but I believe this is the best solution we can manage under the circumstances. Please do not hesitate to voice any questions or concerns you may have when we meet later this evening.

Yours,

Sam"

I couldn't believe my eyes as I read his message. He had actually found a way for us to be together more privately, just as I had hoped. My nerves were still frayed from both excitement and apprehension, but overall, it felt like an enormous weight was beginning to lift from my shoulders.

The remainder of the day passed in a blur as I went about my duties with my mind racing. As night fell and the house grew quiet, I struggled to contain my anticipation. I changed into my red handmaid's attire and slipped out of my room, moving stealthily through the darkened hallways.

Eventually, I found myself outside Sam's office. This was it.
