Divine candleflames burned bright in the boundless void. By all means separate entirely, yet woven they could be no closer. One in the same they were, Golden Brilliance, Overwhelming Nothingness. Its contradictory nature only added to its majesty. The very origin of the Divine. To be beyond meaning, beyond understanding, beyond binding. To understand what cannot be, what should not be, yet is nevertheless. What needn't abide, to anything, to anyone. To burn with its flame, to be woven of its lightless threads. To be everything, all at once.

A pained gasp escaped his mouth, air rushing needlessly into his...pain free lungs? Infact, his entire body was pain-free. Panicked, his claw touched his chest, no wound. Wait. Claw?
He looked down at his, claws. As his conscious cleared he sensed several things wrong with him. He fresh and better then ever, somehow, he felt more powerful, taller? Stronger. He felt a weight on his head, feeling where he shouldn't have had. The onslaught of new feelings and bright light after spending as much time as he had in the darkness stunned him momentarily, not too long though. He would have died long ago if he was stunned easily.
He raised his head and saw...a person...a human...wait. And right back to being stunned he was. He hadn't seen another person in so long, so, so, long. Too much, it was too much. But his body snapped right back into it's steady clockwork. Time and tested, his body would not and did not wait for him to catch up. He rose to his feet. Yes taller indeed. Snapping back into posture, his back straight and shoulders reared. His figure towered over the little girl before him. As imposing as he might have looked like his expression was soft.
The girl before him staggered back and met his gaze with confused fear.
"Hey...uh...what- who are- uh... Your name?"
He cringed at himself, his mouth felt foreign to him, whatever part of his brain that controlled speech was majorly fumbling. It wasn't even funny. The concept of conversing calmly with another sentient individual had become so distant and untouchable that he supposed his mind just couldn't do it very well anymore.
"Um, hi, uhhhh, name's...Lilith... What about, you?"
Odd speech, not that he had much say, fumbling and mumbling as he was.
"Cerise, Cerise Morrow"
No fumbling. Nice. Still awkward though. Constant fidgeting didn't help.
She just, stared, then straightened out. Her eyes less of fear and more of confusion and newfound curiosity.
"Ahem. Right. So do you, by any chance, happen to know where on gods green Earth I am?" -said she. Exaggerating herself near the end.
Funny girl she was. Again, not much he could say. He was a weird guy himself. Well he thought so.
"Yeah, uh, about that... Your not"
She blinked
"Well at least probably not. Hell if I know"
She blinked again
Noting her confusion he followed up.
Ofcourse she's confused, dumbass
"Mm... So we're, most likely, in a completely different space and time. Another dimension, if you will."
She squinted
"Well I'll be damned"
He raised an eyebrow
"Damned indeed, this place is hell"
She grimaced
"Because why the fuck not"
She huffed and sat on a nearby couch, head on her hand. Exasperated as she seemed, he could sense the uncertainty, the confusion, the fear.
