ONE YEAR LATER

you were part of the tribe, everyone knew that, and everyone agreed with that.

it didn't mattered the differences in your skin, in your fighting skills, in your eyes...

the only thing that mattered to all of them was that you had saved them, and that you were ready to do it again.

that's why when they had started going against the humans you didn't had to thought twice about joining jake and neytiri on the battle field.

but you hated the idea of having lo'ak and neteyam there with you, even thought you knew they were supposed to be just spotters, even thought you knew that you would've killed every single one of them if something happened to him.

even thought you knew that he was capable of keeping his family safe, of keeping his own self safe.

"ground team, go!" you heard jake talk in your ear.

you gripped your bow tightly as you were brought back to reality.

the explosion in front of you being enough to remind you of your priorities at the moment.

the wheels of the train screeched when it fell down, the smoke from the explosion mixing with the clean air.

the train was destroyed as every wagon flew in different directions, you let out a word cry as you started to fly towards the ground.

with swift motions you let go of the arrow that you had been tending for a couple of moments, it broke the glass of a helicopter, passing trough the socket of someone's eye.

you didn't had time to watch the vehicle fall to the ground and you used the explosion that it let out as a sign that you had succeeded.

your aim was impeccable and you knew it.

you ululated as you flew trough the air with your toruk, it screeched letting you know what you had to do.

you used your weight to make him turn around as you grabbed another arrow, pointing it up towards the air.

there, flying over you, was another helicopter ready to hit you.

it tilted and you stayed still, your reptile friend waited impatiently wanting to move away and attack.

'wait' you thought as the helicopter tilted more, the man charged its weapon and he aimed, a smirk plastered on his face.
