I could feel every pair of eyes on me, the weight of their stares pressing down like the coldest of winters.
I stood there, perfectly still, as my senior—Seojin—grinned, his cocky smile never reaching his eyes, everything around us faded into the background, the way a spotlight always seemed to find me when I least wanted it.
His voice was too loud, drawing the eyes of every single person in the room.
The whispers began almost immediately—something about me, something about Jihoo, something about this moment. I didn’t have to look up to know everyone was watching.
