After the wedding my mom told me that Aiden was going to take us to his house for a late lunch, just great. I asked her if we could stop by a diner or hotel close by since I was "super hungry". She said that she would ask Aiden but I'm not too sure if she did. Once we got into the jeeps that would take us home we crossed almost any and every restaurant possible. I gave my mom the most prickly gaze possible while she continuously avoided eye contact. I was in the jeep with Aiden and my mom. The rest of the siblings took their own cars back. My heart was pounding, something is definitely going to happen. I played with the hem of my dress until my breathing went back to normal. All I could think about was the fact that I might get beaten up. I don't want that.

I wish Ashton was here, Aiden said that he wasn't welcome since their families don't get along. I was so mad but Ash told me that I should just accept it since it was an unmovable decision. The jeep finally pulled to a halt and the door was opened for me. A tall man in a butler outfit held his hand out to me to assist me to step down from the vehicle. I took his hand and stepped out immediately making my way to my mom, she might shield me. I looked around the front area of the house and there were no cars, weren't the rest of Aiden's kids supposed to be here?

Aiden was checking his phone and I could practically see the vein in his head pulsating. My mom took his hand and asked him what was wrong. "The kids stopped for ice cream along the way so they may take a while". Is God actually real? I couldn't stop smiling, this way meeting them and eating together may be avoided.

Aiden

How much will these children push me? I let out an audible sigh which made t.j flinch. "Uhm i have a project to finish with Ashton. Is there any way we could eat without them? I know this is quite rude of me but my school schedule is not something I can control." I suppose that is true. My children couldn't bother showing up but this little girl has supported her mothers decisions through everything. "Of course. Let us go inside."

As we walk into my home I can see T.j looking all over the place. It was the first time she has come here, I hope she gets used to it soon so that we can live together. I beckon the butler to confirm the plans for lunch that I set in the morning. After leading Angie and t.j to the dining room I received a phone call from Julie. After seating my girls I stepped out to take the call.

(phone call)

Julie: Hello?

Aiden: Where are you? I don't recall raising the lot of you to treat our guests in such a vulgar manner.

Aiden said in a firm tone

Julie: Daddy, you know I tried to talk them out of it. It's not my fault you decided to have five hard headed sons. Even Jaxon won't listen to me.

Julie said in a frantic tone, not being used to her fathers harsh words.

Aiden: Sigh, alright just stay safe and don't get into any trouble. I love you.

Julie: Love you too, bye

I'm not sure what the point of leaving the room was. Mom and I could hear the whole conversation, he seemed pretty mad. He came back and sat down next to my mother and gave her a kiss. I looked away, that was kind of nasty to see. I sat looking down at my hands, the concealer I used to hide the scars on my wrist was starting to rub off, just great. After a couple of minutes butlers rushed in with carts holding food. They started with a simple soup and breadsticks. They introduced the dish as something else but if that's what it looks like then that's what it is. I wonder how many calories this is.

T.j is doing it again, I tried to get her a therapist but she never did see the problem with having an eating disorder. I tried to nudge Aiden under the table to stop asking her to eat and offering her too many options. I could see her struggling to turn him down. His constant commentary about how he had to feed his kids till they popped so that they wouldn't be underweight didn't help the situation at all. I let out a deep sigh of regret, this probably is super nerve racking for her. I should have just taken her home when she indirectly asked me especially since she's been so patient with me.

Once we finished our meal Aiden tried buying time because I really think he wanted all the kids to meet but after about 30 minutes and the kids nowhere to be found he called the car around and sent us home with a sad smile on his face. He tries his best but sometimes he can be a little insensitive. I'm trying to help him and change his mind little by little. However there are some things he must resolve and understand by himself, I can't hold his hand through everything. T.j laid her head on my lap and fell asleep through the car ride. After we got back home t.j went to her room and got started on a project. She didn't say anything to me, but I figured that she wanted to be left alone. I went to my room and stared down at my phone, it was buzzing with texts. They all came from Aiden, he was sending me the tickets he booked to Turkey for our honeymoon. He also kept apologizing for the behavior of his kids.

I packed the rest of my bags and went up to T.j's room. I knocked before entering the cozy little room. T.j was sitting on her bed staring down at her laptop furiously typing {me fr rn}. I told her I finished packing and she got up to help me with my suitcases. Once we took them downstairs' a car pulled into the gate and a man got out collecting the suitcases from T.j while Aiden got out and took my hand. He kissed me and led me to the car after I said my goodbyes to T.j. It would be a good two weeks before I get back.
