I and Georgia were going around the stores looking for rings, but some weren't feeling it, it almost felt too flashy when Alessia is more simple, I wanted something perfect. "Why don't we stop for something to eat?" I asked her and she nodded.

She suggested a sushi place, so we went to the end of a mall and decided to have a quick break and I got to know her more, being the youngest child must be easy, especially since half of her siblings are in a big business "How is it like being the youngest sibling?" I asked her so I could take a bite to eat.

"Pretty funny, I can get away with a lot of things, I've sneaked out a lot but I like being the baby of the family, and because everyone has moved out I get to spend more time with my parents," she said as she ate her food.

"You like it huh?" I replied with a soft smile.

"100%, so is it just you in your family?" She asked.

I shook my head "I had an older sister but she passed away but I also have a younger brother, he's only 19," I replied leaning back in the chair.

"I didn't know you had a younger brother," she said with a shocked expression.

"I don't really open up about family a lot, but you will sure meet him someday in the future," I replied.

"So where you from?" She asked.

"I'm originally from Canada but when I was 16 my older sister and I moved to Mexico for her job," I said as I finished eating and opened up my bottle of sparkling water.

"That's cool, I think I've only been to Canada once due to business with my Mom but that's it," she said.

"Canada is a nice place to visit, I'm thinking about taking Alessia there in the future," I said sipping from my water.

"She'll love it, she loves travelling and more so she will love to travel with you," she said with a smile.

"She's already mentioned about wanting to visit my parents," I mentioned.

"Oh, I didn't realise your parents were still alive," she said.

"Yes they are, I'm hoping after I propose and hopefully she will say yes, I can take her over to Canada to meet them," I replied.

"That's sweet, also I prefer you over Lucas, you're more normal and it's easier to talk to you than Lucas, I tried talking to him but I guess I'm too young to make a conversation with him," she said sounding a bit sad.

"That Scottish prick, can't stand him," I said as I put my water down. "Mind my language, I do apologise," I said to her.

"Oh don't worry, I'm used to it. I don't know how many times my Dad and siblings have sworn throughout my life," she laughed. "And you don't like Lucas?" She raised her brow.

"I dislike him with a passion, there's something about him. Then when I arrested him Alessia let him out and kissed him in front of me," I said with a sigh.

"She did what? She wouldn't have done it if she had feelings for you, she would've done it out of petty. If you did something to her, she would do it back, but she's protective of people who she cares for," she said.

"I know but that Scottish prick loves to say things to me," I exhaled.

"If he says anything more, tell Alessia she will talk to him about it," she replied with a sweet smile.

I nodded "Well let's get shopping, the mall closes in 2 hours," I said as I stood up clearing up our things and putting them in the trash before leaving to go to a store with Georgia.

We looked around for an hour but still, I couldn't find the perfect thing until when I went to pick it up someone else did "We will get this one," the man said to his friend, Georgia nudged me and then winked, I had no idea on what she was doing but she went ahead with it.

She started to cough "Excuse me, sir," she said to the man, and the man turned "Yes?" He looked at her.

"See, I'm unwell me and my fiancé were going to get that ring," she coughed more and looked at the man with soft sad eyes.

"Err, and you want this exact ring?" He questioned her acts.

"Yes.. please... It'll be our last moments together after our wedding and that ring was so perfect on how I imagined it to be," she said as she kept coughing.

I looked at the man, his face turned to guilt "Of course, take it please," he said handing her the ring, the man left the store feeling guilty and confused over the situation.

Georgia turned to me with an evil smile "You're evil," I said with a laugh "But well done," I smiled she gently handed me the ring, we went to the desk and I paid for it as we walked out of the store, we both kept laughing about the man's face.

Eventually, I dropped Georgia off at the house and then drove back to my place for an early night.
