Readers pov:
I was walking to my best friends tails house. I loved working with tails on the X Tornado and helping him out on projects and devices. You see I have a huge crush on tails but I'm afraid to tell him since he might like cosmo instead of me or that if I tell him it'll ruin our friendship. I sighed wishing there was an easy way into telling someone you loved them. I knocked on tails door to be greeted by the "blue blur" Sonic the hedgehog. "Hey (y/n) what are you doing here." He asked. "I came to see if Tails needed any help on the X Tornado." I said. "Oh well then come on in make yourself at home." He said while opening the door wider. I smiled at Sonic and walked in to see Tails working on something with his back turned toward me. I giggled softly and tapped on his shoulder. Tails jumped up and turned around quickly "(y-yn) when did you get h-here?" He stuttered nervously. "Whats behind your back Tails?" I asked. "U-um it's nothing just a l-little device I'm m-making." He said. I smiled "do you need my help today Tails?" I said. "N-no thanks (y/n)." He said. "Okay Tails." I said and heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it guys. I said and opened the door. "Hey cosmo. What's up." I said. "I need to see Tails please." Cosmo said. I smiled and stepped out of her way. "He's over there cosmo." I said as she walked over to Tails.
Tails pov:
I sighed with relief when (y/n) went to see who was at the door. I looked back at the present I was making for her. It was a music box that showed holographic pictures of us working together. I smiled and started remembering all the fun times we had. I was so deep in thought I didn't notice cosmo standing behind me. "Ahem Tails." I turned around and noticed cosmo behind me. "Oh hi cosmo." I said and smiled.
"Tails what are you doing. I thought we were going on a date today." Cosmo said. "Uh cosmo sorry but we're not dating. I'm going to ask (y/n) if she will be my girlfriend. " I said and blushed lightly. Cosmo growled. "But tails your mine and no one else can have you. Cosmo said as she jumped on me. "AH (Y/N) HELP!" I screamed. I saw cosmo pull her fist back about to punch me when I saw a (f/c) aura surround Cosmo and lift her off of me. I smiled and looked at (y/n). "Thanks (y/n)" I said as I got up. (Y/n) giggled and smiled "no problem Tails." (Y/n) said. I grabbed the music box. "Um (y/n) can I ask you something." I asked blushing. (Y/n) smiled and nodded "ask away tails." I held out the music box and pressed the button and it started playing a soft melody. (Y-y/n) will you be my girlfriend. I asked blushing. "Yes Tails I will be your girlfriend. She said while hugging me tightly. I smiled and pulled back a little and pressed my lips against hers. We pulled apart panting lightly. "I love you (y/n)." I said. (Y/n) blushed and smiled. "I love you too Tails." (Y/n) said while pulling me into another kiss.
