Ellie is able to see ghosts after an accident when learning how to ride a bike when she was 5 she banged her head really badly so much so she needed surgery after that she could see ghosts they always bothered her and as she grew up she learnt to cancel them out and ignore there shouts and words there is only one person in the whole entire ghostly world she listens to and that's her great grandfather Anthony hidden away in one of the back rooms of their family homes she sits there once a day for two hours talking to him and she just told her family that she's reading
After her accident 11 years ago she told her family everything about ghosts but just like mike did to alison they dismissed that thought but then as she kept telling them her mum put her into therapy but that never helped her siblings always just thought she was a freak and little by little she just stopped telling them everything the only person she could rely on was Anthony the only one who would listen.
