Time Entanglement

Greater Good.

David has not been speaking with anyone since last night .He was too angry and too hurt to speaks anything. He has always been a understanding father .His daughter is his apple of eyes. Since the day she starts speaking, she used to recite her each minute detail of her day with him. But it was the time when she was a child, now she has grown up and hence she doesn't find it necessary to inform her parents about happening of life even if it was important. Even last night, It was Harry who told them about soul bond not Hermione.

Sitting on the couch in the living room and sipping a cup of tea , while pretending to read a newspaper, he was wandering that where he has failed to gain trust of his daughter.

His musing was cut short when he heard the doorbell .As Jane open the door , there stand was his daughter Hermione, holding a one year old child in his lap . Beside her was Harry holding some bags , may be belongings of child. The picture that they are presenting in from of David is so heartwarming that he forgot to look angry when Hermione looks at him.

"Hi Dad" She said uncertainly , looking at him with guilty eyes .

"He is Teddy" David asked looking at the sleeping child in Hermione's lap .

"Yes. We are going to come earlier but Teddy was being all fussy so ..." Harry speaks , putting his bags on the floor.

"Want some tea" Said Jane.

"Yes , Please.It's too cold outside" Harry replied .

"Give him to me, I'll make him lie properly " Jane said extending her arms to take Teddy and Hermione handed him to her ."I'll be back in a while."

Hermione sits beside Harry, like a guilty child who has been caught stealing. She looks at Harry unsurely who blinks at her assuring her.In a while Jane returns with tea and snacks .

"You're mad at me, Dad?" Hermione asked gathering at courage but David doesn't answer anything.

"I know I've lied to you but I just don't want you to be worried..." Said Hermione with crackling voice.

"What's there to be worried about, Hermione?" Jane asked pointedly. Hermione looks at her  ,her eyes becoming distant as if looking at something very far from her and David noticed that Same look was on Harry's face .

"Mrs. Granger.." Harry breaks the ice.

"Mom, Dad..." Hermione interrupt him quickly and David feel like she is again going to make some new story.

"Remember I told you that in wizarding world , there are some kind of stereotype against muggles and muggle born people" Hermione said. David recalls their old conversation when Hermione told him about it.

"Many people thinks that people with magical blood is some kind of superior to other people" Jane said and Hermione nodded.

"Yeah! And there are some people who thought that they've right to suppress another's people right just because they are superior in their head" Hermione speaks .Her eyes spitting fire .

"From centuries , they are many suppressed notion to make a world where people with so called pure blood rules over non-magical people. Time to time these things came into surface where one or another mad man tried to covert it into reality. One of those Man was Tom Riddle....." Hermione speaks. She told them succinctly that how riddle wanted to remove muggle borns from the world and how he was threat to everyone.She told them about formation of order of pheonix, groups of people standing against those people and Harry's parent were among them.

"That's why he killed his parents" David said looking at Harry with sympathy.

"No ,Sir .They were killed because....." Harry said .
