Changing Equilibrium

Harry Potter sleep gets disturbed by Hermione's arrival.As usual he again sits up holding his wand in his hand. However he lied down when he sees Hermione.

"I am with James.Go and take shower ." Speaks Hermione " I have transformed your clothes into something nice but Harry  seriously you need a new wardrobe. .No single clothes of yours is suitable for the date.

"I am not going out Hermione" Speaks Harry still disheartened from the change of plan.

"What!! Why?" Hermione asked pulling his blanket to reveal his face .Harry just looks at James in answer .

"Seriously Harry. He is in Hogwarts under Dumbledore's security."  Said Hermione.

"I know.But I can't leave him alone"  Said Harry ."Enjoy on my behalf too.".

"

"What about Ginny?" Asked Hermione.

"I told her to stay here ." Said Harry.

"You are not expecting her to do so .You know how much we all wait for this " Said Hermione.

"No I don't" Replied Harry. He was already missing Hogsmead and here she is making him realise that. "You,Ginny and Ron go and enjoy" He said turning his face away from her.

"I am not going to Hogsmead either" Said Hermione

"What!!!Why?" Speaks Harry looking at her .

"Err...I was thinking to stay back and do some light reading " She said ."If you want I can take care of James . You can  go ....

"You are staying for James" This was not question from Harry's side .

"Harry,You can go . Even if you stay I am not going to go" Said Hermione.

"So am I . However Ginny can stay " He said bitterly.

"Harry, You, yourself has told that you can't be his Dad and  are expecting Ginny to be Mom.You should expect motherly sacrifice from her" Said Hermione

"You stayed back" Harry speaks as if it explains everything.

"Why are you comparing us?" She snapped back." We are two different personality Harry.....' She turns back and takes a deep breath to calm herself.

"You should go" She whispers slowly. He looks at her dejectedly .

"Fine... I will ." He agreed half heartly and looks back at James before coming out from the bed.

"You both slept here?" Asked Ginny who has just arrived .Her voice is soft but still different.

"I arrived in the morning" Speaks Hermione stepping back to allow Harry and Ginny to face each other.

"I thought about it , Harry.I think you are right.You should stay " Ginny speaks.

"Harry has just agreed to come with you "  Interjected Hermione.

"Even if he does .He would not be with me ,not fully." Said Ginny to Hermione and turns to look at Harry.

Again Ginny does .

She understands him . Even if he wants to go out with her  ,he can't leave James .He feels sudden surge of happiness in him and pulls Ginny towards him .

As  soon as Harry's lips meets to Ginny ,Hermione turns back with a sudden pang on her heart which is not new but still confusing.She is happy for Harry, she is happy that he finally living his life .He deserves all the happiness in his life.He deserves girl like Ginny with him.Ginny is beautiful,smart , strong loves quditich like Harry, have red hair like Harry's mother .She is perfect for Harry and Hermione is happy for Harry . But then why this pang?
