"Are you serious?"

*Niall's Part Of View*

I looked at Lexi and smiled my tears starting again. I took a deep breath and kissed her hand. Lexi's breathing increased and I freaked. I looked at Harry and his eyes were wide. 

"Get the nurse!" I said. My eyes getting blurry with the tears.

"Nurse! Help!" Harry said screaming out the door. I sobbed.

"Its gonna be okay Lexi." I said as her heart monitor became faster then slower.

"Sir, you have to evacuate the room." A lady said. I kissed Lexi's hand the walked out the room with Harry.

"Why, why, why!" I said getting mad and hitting the wall.

"Niall calm down."

"Do you think she's gonna be okay?"

"Maybe. But that isn't the point. The point is that she is here right now."

Its been about 20 minutes and everyone has fallen back asleep because its like 3 am. Kian and I were the only people up. It was silent. I was on my phone he was on his. A nurse then came out.

"Mr. Horan?"  I got up and walked to her with my hands in the pockets of my hoodie. 

"She's awake. Her breathing has gotten a bit better and she just has to take an inhaler if any panic attacks happen. If the inhaler doesn't work we have an injection. You get to take her home later today. She can talk so you and other people can visit her again."

"Thank you." I said. She nodded and walked back into the E.R. 

I turned around and saw Louis awake and Kian asleep. I walked to Louis and he got up. 

"So, what did she say?" He asked.

"She said she's awake.  We have to get an inhaler and injection thing just in case, she has cancer, and we can take her home later today."

"Niall she will pick to stay. She has to live for it."

"Geez...I think you should get some rest dude. I mean you've been up since like 11 o'clock at night." I nodded and sat down. I rested my head on my hand that was on the arm rest and darkness took over. 

*Lexi's part of view*

I woke up with someone crying and holding my hand. I opened my eyes and saw Sarah and Liam. Liam was holding my hand and Sarah was crying. 

"What's going on?" I said lightly making Sarah and Liam look at me.

"You're in the hospital." Sarah said wiping her eyes.

"Well I know that but, where's Niall?"

"Sleeping. He's in the waiting room with everyone else."

"Is anything wrong with me?" I asked. They looked at each other and walked out. I was laying there in confusion. The doctor came in with my parents and Niall. Niall sat down and took my hand. My parents on the window seats.

"What's wrong with me? Did anything bad happen?" I asked annoyed.

"Mrs. Lawley You have cancer." The doctor said. My eyes got teary and I held on to Niall's hand a little tighter. 

"Are you serious?" I asked silently laughing waiting for someone to say just kidding, she then nodded making my stomach drop as shivers took over my body, 

"Also no more sex, drinking, drugs, or getting pregnant. That will make the cancer worse."

"So your saying I can't live the rest of my life? Everything stops huh? I can't have a family? Not have fun anymore?" 

"Lexi stop." My mom said

"No. Its like taking away my dignity or freedom to be an adult!" 

"Babe, calm down. Its gonna be fine-"

"Stop telling me that! Nothing is gonna be fine. We won't have a family. Or have a fucking honeymoon for God sake." I said with tears streaming down my face.

"I'm so sorry Mrs. Lawley." The doctor said before she walked out making me cry.

No more living life...Everything happens for a reason.
