Hogwarts had been a dream so far, however even dreams must come to an end. Emaline watched the statue lower down and she jumped a bit when she saw not just Wyatt in then nook, but standing next to him a smug Draco as well.

"So this is where you've been sneaking off to at night Ammons, I thought it was strange when I woke up and saw your bed empty, I thought you were simply going to the toilet.  But you've been meeting up with this Mudblood all along."  Draco was grinning, and he grabbed Wyatts arm and dragged him out of the nook.  "I can't wait to get you in trouble Bellhouse, let's go."

Draco pulled the two of them along down the corridor, but as they were walking they heard whispers from down another hallway.  The three peered around the corner and saw Harry, Ron and Hermione rushing down another corridor.

"Bellhouse.  What are they up to?"  Draco said to Emaline as if she knows what they were doing.  She just shrugged and Draco rolled his eyes.  "Well let's follow them."  He said, as if Wyatt and Emaline had a choice.

The three of them followed the trio at a safe distance, watching as they left the castle and rushed across the grass towards Hagrids hut.  They waited till they were in side before following in their footsteps and poking their heads so that they could see through the window into Hagrids hut.

Inside the trio were talking to Hagrid, and their attention then turned to an egg Hagrid took out of a pot on his stove.

"What is that?"  Emaline whispered to Wyatt, and he just shrugged.

The egg began to crack and broke open revealing "A dragon."  Wyatt gasped.  All three of their mouths were wide open, and the trio inside were just as shocked as they were.

Emaline tried to get a closer look, but she stepped on a a rock that made her slip.  The two boys looked at her and helped her, they returned to the window to see the group inside were staring directly at them.

"Shit, let's go."  Draco said and took off running towards the castle, quickly followed by Emaline and Wyatt.

They had no idea where Draco was going, they just assumed he was going straight back to the common room, they soon realized they should have know better than to follow him when they caught up to him and saw him talking to professor McGonagall.  McGonagall's eyes found Emaline and Wyatt, they saw her ask Draco something and he turned to look at them and nodded yes.  The two had no choice than to join Draco with MGonagall and she asked them to follow her.

The forbidden forest was a place Emaline never thought she'd end up.  Yet here she was serving detention with her cousin, Harry, Ron, Wyatt and Draco being dragged into the forbidden forest to track down a wounded unicorn. At first none of them believed Filch when he had told them they would be in the forbidden forest for their detention, but when they met up with Hagrid right outside the forests edge it finally set in.

Draco started complaining about how there were werewolves in the forest, but Emaline wasn't paying attention to him, she was focusing in on the darkness of the forest that felt like it was engulfing them.  She shivered and focused her attention back over to Filch as he hobbled off leaving them with Hagrid.  It was then they were given their task of tracking down the wounded unicorn.

Hagrid announced that they would be splitting up into two groups, and with her luck Emaline ended up with Draco and Harry, Fang was going with them as well so while Draco and Harry bickered back and forth she stuck close to Fang, petting his fur as they made their way through the forbidden forest.  She tried not to listen to what those two dimwits were arguing about, it was absolute nonsense.  They sounded like magpies going back and forth with insults and "My father..." this "my father..." that.

Emaline tried looking around to spot a unicorn, even though she'd never seen one and had no idea they existed in the first place.  She figured she shouldn't be too surprised, magic exists after all and she'd gotten pretty used to that.  Some things still surprise her though.  She notice something white illuminating the forest and began walking closer, Fang following her closely.

"Uh.  Where are you going Bellhouse?"  Draco asks, noticing her veering away from the path.

"There's something there."  She point at the white figure in the trees.

"And we're going towards it.... Because?"

"It could be the unicorn Draco."  Em look back at him and Harry.  Harry jogs to join her, and Draco sighs and drags himself over to the two.  They make their way towards the bright white shape.  They reach a clearing in the trees, and their noses filled with a sweet smell, all three of them stop in their tracks, as they were right it was the unicorn.  But something sinister was there too, a dark cloaked creature devouring the unicorn.

Emaline felt the blood in her body run cold, all of them froze in terror, watching, until the creature rises and turned to face them.  Emaline felt someone grab her hand tightly and yank her in the other direction, the adrenaline floods and she started running away from the monster.  The forest was a flash as the two sprinted for their life, the light flame of Harris's lantern came into view, greater brighter and brighter till they found themselves with the group again.  Finally she got to stop to catch her breath, and she notice there's a hand still tightly holding on to hers .

She looked over and made eye contact with the wide blue eyes of Draco.  He lets go of her hand quickly, and the two turned to face the group.

"Where's Harry?"  Hermione asks.  Emaline looked around realizing Harry hadn't followed her and Draco, meaning he was still with the creature.

"We found the unicorn, but there was something with it, Harry's still back there we have to go save him!"  Hagrid's face darkens and the group raced back to where Draco and Emaline had found the unicorn.

As they approached the spot, Em's eyes widened and she let out a gasp upon seeing a creature talking to Harry, she looked over at Hermione to see if she was shocked as well, her eyes were wide too, but she didn't seem too surprised. In front of us was a half horse, half human. Hagrid seemed to know the creature, he greeted him as if they were old friends. It still amazes Em how there can't be such incredible creatures in this world and she had went 12 years without knowing of their existence.

"Let's get going back to the school." Hagrid caught Emaline's attention. All of them agreed and made their way back towards the school.

Hagrid got them doing work around his hut for the rest of the night. Em got into bed as the sun began peaking through her window, she closed her eyes hoping to get a bit of rest before the day started, but shortly after she was disturbed by her roommates shuffling around getting ready for the day.

"Stupid Draco Malfoy." She cursed under her breath.
