Chapter 4

No one's POV

They both went down the large set of stairs,Ein looked around in wonder,looking at all of the paintings and the tall walls that surrounded them. "Wow,your house is massive,do you live here alone?" He asked as he looks at a large painting of a tree with nooses hanging from some of the branches. "My parents live here too,but there never home since they work in a whole different country" He laughs softly and leads Ein into the kitchen,it's a large room with an island in the middle,the counters were made of black marble with gold running through it and everything else had the same look and theme to it. "Wow...so you're here all alone?" Ein asked as he looked around the kitchen. "Yeah pretty much,all alone" Pierce smiled and opens the fridge door. "What would you like?" "O-oh,I'll eat anything...so just make me whatever you want..." "Ein smiled and sat down at the island and looked at Pierce. "Alright then,how about some chicken?""Oh,yes please".

Pierce then makes Ein some roast chicken.

Pierce puts the plate of chicken in front of Ein and sits across from him. "Oh,are you not gonna eat anything?" Ein asked as he picks up his fork. "I already ate dinner, and it's also like 3 in the morning" Pierce smiles and watches Ein eat his food. "Oh,alright...mph...this is really good" He swallowed the chicken and dug into the rest,after he was done he got up and cleaned his dish.

"Thanks for the food,sorry I had to make you do that..." Ein smiled as he cleared his dish away. "No don't worry about it,I haven't had company in a long time so I actually enjoyed cooking for you" Pierce smiled brightly and led Ein into the large living room."Oh,if you don't mind...I would like to ask you some question" Pierce said as he sat down next to Ein on the couch. "A-alright...what do you wanna ask me...?" Ein asked,looking at Pierce with a small smile.

"...What were you doing out in the woods like that? You were freezing and soaked...I'm surprised you didn't catch hypothermia..." Pierce asked,a concerned yet calm look on his face.Ein hesitated for a moment,but then answered. "My mom drove me out to the woods and told me to wait there...so I did...and she didn't come back,I tried to find my way home but ended up getting lost and passing out..." Pierce listened,watching Ein as he spoke,he looked more concerned than he was before. "Wait...how old are you?" "I'm 16..." Ein looked at the fire that was burning in front of the couch,not wanting to make eye contact."16?! Why would a mother leave her 16 year old son in the woods all alone?! That's so fucked up!" Pierce looks so concerned,Ein found it kinda weird that this ransoms boy actually felt sorry for him.

After a long couple of hours of talking snd sharing life stories they decided to walk around the mansion. "Wait,so how old are you?" Ein asks Pierce as he walks beside him. "Oh,I'm 17" Ein smiled a little "Wow,so your parents just let you live here on your own pretty much?" "Yep,pretty much" Pierce giggles quietly and turns to Ein. "So,earlier when you were talking about your life story and you said you had a crush on a couple of boys in your old school,does that mean your gay?".Pierce asked with a wide smile,Ein laughed and looked back at Pierce. "Yeah I guess it does,I've never really had any feelings for a girl before,it's always been a boy." Pierce smiled even more, "Neat! I'm gay too!" They both laughed a little and realised they had been walking in circles around the mansion for an hour or so,it was around 7:43,and both of them had gotten pretty tired. "I kinda wanna take a nap" Pierce yawned and looked at Ein,"Yeah same dude" Ein yawned as well. "Hey,wanna just sleep in my room? I don't really wanna be to far away from you,it may sound weird but the truth is I've never really had a friend...or someone to talk to, and I've especially never had someone that I have this much fun with." Pierce smiled at Ein who was blushing lightly. "S-sure...I would love that!" They both head up to Pierce's room.
