CHAPTER 3: How Love Starts
CAD'S POV
I followed Kim, and we stopped walking when we reached this 2 storey modern coffee shop. 
"Why are we here?" I asked her. Akala ko ay sa bahay nila ako aayain para magamot ang sugat sa mukha ko? Bakit nandito kami sa coffee shop?
"Basta. Sumunod ka nalang sa'kin." I don't have a choice, I followed her until we get inside the coffee shop. Iilan lang ang customer sa loob. Mukhang high class coffee shop ito pero ngayon lang ako napadpad dito. Malayo na kasi ito sa University namin.
Dinala ako ni Kim sa 2nd floor ng coffee shop.
"Wait for me here. Maupo ka muna." I nodded and my eyes followed her. Bumaba siya sa 1st floor hanggang sa ilang minuto lang ay may dala dala na siyang medical kit.
She started to put an alcohol on  the cotton ball at saka dahan dahang idininampi ito sa sugat ko.
"Ouch!" Daing ko.
"I'm sorry. Mahapdi talaga 'to pero kailangan nating linisin ang sugat mo." Kinuha ko ang bulak sa kanya at ako na ang naglagay nito sa sugat ko. Baka kasi hindi sa hapdi ako mamatay kundi dahil sa sobrang kabang nararamdaman ko ngayon dahil sa ginagawa niya.
"I'll do it myself." I said.
She stayed silent while looking at what I'm doing. Nakaramdam Ako ng pagka-ilang.
"I need to go home now. Thanks for this." Saad ko at tumayo na.
"Okay ka na ba?" She still looked so worried about me.
"I'm already fine. Thanks for your help and for this." Sabay angat ko sa bulak na may alcohol. "I'll go home now. How about you?" Tanong ko.
"Mag-iingat ka. Well, I have some errands to do." Nakangiting sagot Niya.
"Is that so? Are you planning to go out with your friends?" Tss. Ano ba dapat pakialam ko sa buhay niya?
"No. I need to stay here 'till 10pm." She answered. Napatingin ako sa buong coffee shop.  Maybe this is one of their family's business or maybe her own business. 
"Kim, pakikuha ang order sa table 6." Sigaw ng isang babae na dumaan sa tabi namin.
"Ikaw ba yong tinawag niyang Kim?" I asked her.
"Sige na Cad, duty ko na. Ingat ka huh? Thanks ulit!" Sabay takbo niya paalis at pumasok siya sa restroom ng coffee shop. 
Natulala ako sa kinatatayuan ko at nagtataka sa sinabi ni Kim. I wait for her na lumabas sa restroom. 
"Kim kanina pa nag-aantay yong order sa table 6!" 
"Papunta na po ako Ma'am!" My eyes glued to her while she's fixing her hair. Kim is wearing the same uniform of the crews in this coffee shop. She's also wearing an apron. Nagtataka ako sa ginagawa niya. Napansin kong may dumaan na isang crew din ng coffee shop.
"Excuse me." 
"Yes sir? Good afternoon po."
"Uhm.. Do you know what she's doing here?" I asked while I'm looking to Kim. She's busy talking with some customers.
"Si Miss Kim po ba?"
"Yes."
"Nagta-trabaho po siya dito. Working student po iyang si Miss Kim, sa isang private university daw po kasi siya nag-aaral pero sa pagkakaalam ko ay may  scholarship naman siya. Teka ka-anu-ano niyo po ba siya?"
"Huh? Ah... She's my friend. " I lied. Nginitian niya lang ako at nagpaalam na may aasikasuhin pa siya. Nakita kong bumaba si Kim sa 1st floor kaya naman sinundan ko siya.
