Nikis POV

Another day without Jay. It's been 127 days since some fucking asshole killed him in a hit-and-run accident and vanished without a trace. Jay was my best friend—more like a brother, the only family I had. He raised me, taught me everything.
Now that he's gone, I don't know what to do with my life. So I cause chaos. Kill some people, set some things on fire, destroy buildings. It all depends on my mood.
No one knows it's me, though.
I sit in my one-bedroom apartment, watching the news about last night's escapade. It wasn't that bad—might've just killed someone and their boyfriend. I left their dog though. Animals don't deserve to die.
I'm known as "The Villain of Bucheon." Everyone knows about me, but they don't know it's me. The officer on my case also has a name—"Sunshine Sunoo," the happiest human on Earth, yet he's a police officer, the one determined to figure out who I am. I will admit, he's pretty cute, but that doesn't change the fact that he's trying to uncover my identity. If they find out it's me, I'd get a life sentence with no chance of parole. Thankfully, South Korea doesn't really do the death sentence, but if they did, I'd be a goner.
Most people wouldn't believe that a 19-year-old like me is behind all of this, so I'm safe. I don't have friends, so no one questions what I do when I stay at home. Sometimes I feel bad for the random people I harm, but most of the time, I don't care.
I finish my coffee and decide what I want to do today.

I had just finished the interview with the news reporters about last night's murders. This 'Villain' had struck again. Even though I'm still in college, I'm one of the best police officers out there. For the past four months, this 'Villain' has been tormenting Bucheon with everything from vandalizing to murdering innocent people. The worst part is, I can't figure out anything, and no one else can figure out who it is either.
But I'm determined to solve it. Mainly because this villain killed my dad. I didn't really like my dad, but he's still my dad, so...
As I was leaving the crime scene, I saw the couple's dog outside. At least he left the dog alive. But then I noticed something on its collar. I put on a pair of gloves and grabbed it. It was a small letter that said,
You are so far from finding me, so I'll give you a small hint—I'm not who you think.
This asshole. I will find them.

Niki had decided to do something unexpected. He wanted to go help Kim Sunoo. He went to the police station and asked to talk to Sunoo which somehow they allowed.
"Hi Officer Sunshine," Niki said leaning on the doorframe
"Hello?..." Sunoo responded not knowing the name of this tall figure in his office.
"Niki" Niki responded with a smile
"Hello there Niki, how can I help you?"
"I actually wanna help you solve this little 'Villian' case," He said sitting in the chair
"Your funny. you 18?"
"Im 19 and I'm very good at solving things"
"Okay well, only police can be let in on the case."
"Please sir I think I can be of great help"
"Give me an example."
"You prob think it's someone over the age of 25 but that's where you're wrong. This 'Villain' most likely is below the age of 20 because they are never seen using a gun and you have to be 20 to own a gun. Also because when they vandalize things in many areas an adult would not be able to reach"
"Hmm, maybe you are smart. You can help me but that doesn't mean you get to play police officer"
"yes sir," Niki said
