"Easier than I thought. This should be fun. Playing with Mr. Sunshine," Niki mused, a dark grin spreading across his face. Many might wonder, "Niki, why help the guy trying to catch you?" The answer was quite simple: he was bored. Killing people was only fun sometimes, so he had to spice it up, make it a game.
Tonight, Niki decided he was going to kill someone random. He wandered through the quiet streets until he came across a house. Without hesitation, he broke in. Lucky for him, it turned out to be someone he knew—the girl who had bullied him in high school.
"Bye bye, Min Jie-un," he thought as he pulled out his knife. The thrill of revenge coursed through him as he stabbed her repeatedly, counting up to twenty. The room was filled with the sickening sound of the blade tearing through flesh, and he watched as her life drained away.
"I think she's dead," he said to the dog lying next to her bed. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you." The dog whimpered but stayed still, sensing the danger in Niki's presence.
Niki walked out of the house as if nothing had happened, blending into the night with ease. He was already excited for the morning news, eager to see how his handiwork would be reported and how Sunoo would react to the latest crime scene. The game was just beginning, and Niki couldn't wait to see how it would unfold.

"Hyung, do you think I'll ever catch him?" Sunoo asked Heeseung, the worry evident in his voice.
"I think you will, but you'll catch him in the most unexpected way possible," Heeseung replied with a laugh, trying to lighten the mood.
"Heeseung, stop messing around," Jungwon interjected, his tone more serious. "I think you'll catch him in the act, hyung."
Sunoo looked at his two best friends, feeling a mix of gratitude and determination. Heeseung and Jungwon had been his closest friends for as long as he could remember. They were more than just friends; they were his family, and they had been by his side throughout this entire ordeal, helping him on the case.
Trying to find this 'Villain of Bucheon' wasn't an easy job. Niki was clever, always one step ahead, and the chaos he created left little room for mistakes. Sunoo had dedicated countless hours to tracking him, analyzing patterns, and trying to predict his next move. Despite the challenges, he knew he couldn't give up.
"I appreciate you both," Sunoo said, a small smile forming on his lips. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
"We're in this together, Sunoo," Heeseung said, placing a reassuring hand on Sunoo's shoulder.
"Yeah, we'll catch him," Jungwon added, his eyes filled with determination. "And when we do, it'll be over for him."

(S)creams. That was what was heard in the morning—screaming and crying that pierced the otherwise quiet neighborhood.
"911, what's your emergency?" the operator's calm voice answered the frantic call.
"My-my daughter was killed," Jie-un's father cried on the phone, his voice breaking with anguish.
Within minutes, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Heeseung arrived at the scene, the flashing lights of their patrol cars illuminating the tragic scene before them.
"Damn, they felt no mercy this time. Brutal," Heeseung said, staring at the lifeless body of Jie-un, her blood staining the floor.
"Yah, Jungwon, didn't we go to school with her?" Sunoo asked, his voice laced with a mix of recognition and disbelief.
"Oh yeah, Jie-un," Jungwon replied, nodding. "I remember she always bullied that one kid in the grade below us as a way of flirting."
"Sad to see her go," Sunoo murmured, though his mind was already racing with thoughts of the case. The brutality of the crime, the randomness of the victim—these were hallmarks of the Villain of Bucheon.
Looking around the crime scene he found another note from the killer. This time written in Japanese (I don't speak Japanese lets see how bad the translation is)
うー、また勝った。私を見つけるのを楽しんで。
As Sunoo examined the note, he sighed in frustration. "Hyung, do either you or Jungwon speak Japanese?"
"No, sorry. Why?" Heeseung asked, looking up from his work.
"Damn, the killer left a note in Japanese. I'm going to bring this back to the station," Sunoo said, gathering the note and heading back to the precinct.
At his desk, Sunoo struggled to make sense of the characters on the note. Just as he was about to give up, Niki walked in with his usual nonchalance.
"Hi there, Sunshine. How's it going?" Niki asked, a smirk on his face.
"Horrible. I can't figure out what this note says," Sunoo replied, holding up the piece of paper.
Niki glanced at it and chuckled. "Let me see. Oh, it says, 'Woo, another win for me. And another loss for you. Have fun finding me, Sunshine—you're getting closer.'"
"YOU UNDERSTAND JAPANESE?" Sunoo exclaimed, shocked.
"Well, I was born there and I'm Japanese, so I'd hope so," Niki replied with a shrug.
"Amazing," Sunoo muttered, clearly frustrated. "Ugh, but still, now he's just taunting me."
Niki's smirk widened as he saw Sunoo's frustration. "Seems like he's enjoying this game, huh? But don't worry, Sunshine. You'll catch him eventually. Just keep following the clues."
+Niki
New game- make Kim Sunoo fall in love with me.
I thought of it last night. Ima make him love me- then kill him! That sounds fun right.
"Hyung who died last night," Niki asked as if he didn't already know
"Min Jie-un, 20. She was the same age as me"
"Oh, I remember her."
"Oh, do you? You went to our high school"
"Yeah she bullied me"
"YOU WERE THE KID SHE BULLIED?"
"Yes, why?"
"Everyone in our grade knew but she bullied you because she liked you. weird right"
"Yeah, but I wouldn't have liked her back, I prefer guys"
