Taehyung got home and headed straight to the secret room, taking a seat at the desk. He grabbed the box Jimin gave him. Before opening it, he looked at Jennie's picture on the table; it seemed as if she was smiling at him.
"Noona, what's all this?... Anyway, I'm gonna open it."
He opened the box, finding a bunch of magazine clippings and photos. As he took them out:
'Golden Voice CEO caught kissing Jiwon from HarmoniX, an artist in his company.'
'Golden Voice CEO Jungkook and Jiwon from his company dating: Fact check.'
He was completely taken aback when he saw the pictures - Jiwon and Jungkook kissing.
So, that rumor... before two years... it wasn't Jennie... it was Jiwon... Was he cheating... did he do something to Jennie so he could live peacefully with her...
His eyes brimmed with tears, but more than that, a burning rage consumed him.

"If you loved her so much, why did you kill her?"
"What!?" Taehyung rose up and grabbed Jungkook by his collar, slamming him against the wall.
"Why did you date my sister if you wanted to be with someone else? Was killing her your only way to get her out of your life?"
He throwed the pictures into his face. His intense, piercing gaze locked onto Jungkook's face.
The weight of regret etched across Jungkook's expression, tears welling up.
"Yes... I killed her... I am the reason why she left us... I... I shouldn't have called her that night... I should have waited..." Jungkook burst into a loud cry.
Taehyung tighted his grip once again, "What do you mean?"
"After this rumor came out, we argued a lot, she changed so much...I thought she was worried about me dumping her... I just wanted to reassure her that I wouldn't leave her...That's when I thought of that stupid idea.... I booked a table at her favorite restaurant and gave her a call......I was going to propose to her....I was ready to throw everything away for her...I just wanted her to believe in us, but fate... fate was against us. If I hadn't done that, she would have been here with me"
He looked at Taehyung.
"Do you think I would believe that...Why would she drive alone in the middle of the night, especially when she's not good at driving? Even if I did believe it, does that change the fact that you cheated on her?"
"I asked Mingyu to pick her up, but she insisted on coming on her own... I thought there'd be a driver......and I never cheated...I could never do that to her"
"Then explain those pictures."

Taehyung released his grip, causing Jungkook to lose his balance and fall down. He turned to leave the room, but Jungkook grabbed his hand. "Please, believe me."

He grabbed a photo of Jungkook and Jennie from the table, slamming it onto the floor and shattering the glass. The pieces scattered all around as he stormed out, leaving Jungkook sitting there, his cries echoing through the room.
