After some days~

In the colourful classroom, Yoon gathered with his friends during a break. Excitement filled the air as they chatted about their upcoming class event.

Yoon, fidgeting with his crayons, turned to his friends with curiosity. "Hey, guys, do you think your moms will come to our class thingy?" he asked, eyes wide with anticipation.

His friend, Mia, shrugged. "I dunno. Maybe. What about your mom, Yoon?"

A warm smile played on Yoon's face as he proudly declared, "Oh, definitely! He promised he'd come. He never breaks promises." The innocence in his eyes echoed the unwavering trust he had in Sunoo.

The classmates exchanged smiles, and Yoon continued to share his excitement with his friends, eagerly awaiting the moment when his mom would walk into the classroom, fulfilling a small but meaningful promise.

As the first period concluded, a buzz of anticipation filled the classroom. Mothers started to gather at the back, forming a lively group. Yoon, perched at his desk, couldn't contain his excitement, his eyes scanning the room for his mother.

Amidst the mothers, Sunoo, a friendly and cheerful figure, entered the room. Yoon's face lit up as he spotted him, and with a beaming smile, Yoon waved enthusiastically. Sunoo, noticing the eager 7-year-old, reciprocated the wave with a warm grin, creating a heartwarming moment of connection in the bustling classroom. He waves back.

Yoon's friends, intrigued by his excitement, urged him to point out his mother in the gathering crowd. Yoon, with a mischievous grin, gestured toward Sunoo and proudly declared, "There he is! That's my mom".

His friends exchanged curious glances and then turned their attention to Sunoo. "Wow, Yoon, your mom is really beautiful!" one of his friends exclaimed, appreciating Sunoo's presence in the room. Yoon, still beaming with pride, nodded in agreement, happy to share a moment of playful imagination with his friends.

As the school day concluded, Yoon and Sunoo, the mismatched pair of mother and son for the day, strolled side by side, laughter and joy echoing in their steps. Yoon clutched Sunoo's hand with the innocence of childhood, and together they made their way happily back home, creating a heartwarming memory that would be cherished by both for years to come.

During their cheerful walk home, Yoon, hesitating but filled with genuine affection, turned to Sunoo. "Um, Hyung... Can I, uh, call you Mom from now on?" he asked, eyes reflecting a mix of hope and apprehension.

Sunoo's eyes softened, touched by the request. With a warm smile, he nodded and said, "Of course, Yoon. You can call me Mom if that makes you happy." And in that simple agreement, a special bond formed between Yoon and Sunoo.

"We will buy some cake on the way home." sunoo said.

------

Sunoo and Yoon, entered the cozy bakery, the aroma of freshly baked goods enveloping them. They exchanged a few words about which cakes to choose for themselves and Sunghoon.

As they deliberated, Sunoo noticed Niki at the counter, casually browsing the selection. Disgust flickered across Sunoo's face, memories of past disagreements resurfacing. Despite the desire to avoid any confrontation, he couldn't ignore the irony of the situation.

Niki glanced up from choosing a cake, locking eyes with Sunoo. Awkward tension hung in the air for a moment before Niki offered a small, polite nod. Sunoo, still uneasy, managed a forced smile and a brief nod in return, a strained attempt to keep things civil.

Yoon, sensing the tension, tugged on Sunoo's sleeve, whispering, "Mom, let's just get our cakes and go."

Sunoo took a deep breath, nodding in agreement. As they approached the counter to make their purchase, Niki finished his transaction and headed towards the exit. Sunoo tried to keep his focus on the cakes, but his discomfort lingered.

Sunoo, feeling uneasy, walked out of the bakery with the cakes in hand. However, before he could make a clean exit, Niki hurriedly caught up and grabbed his arm, preventing him from leaving. He dragged sunoo to the side of the building, so to avoid the crowd. Sunoo, his discomfort growing, tried to pull away.

"Sunoo, wait," Niki said earnestly, ignoring Sunoo's plea to be left alone. "I've been meaning to catch up. It's been so long. By the way, when did you have a child? I didn't even know you were a mom."

Sunoo, visibly irritated, replied tersely, "Look, Niki, it's none of your business. I'd appreciate it if you'd let go and respect my privacy."

Undeterred, Niki persisted with uncomfortable questions, "Come on, Sunoo, just a quick catch-up. When did you become a mother? Who is his father? Maybe... That man, who saved you, right? I didn't know you had so many men to do it with you... Such a slut..."

Sunoo, growing increasingly frustrated, insisted, "I don't owe you any explanations. Please, let go." He attempted to free his arm again.

Sunoo's eyes welled up with tears as Niki persisted with the intrusive questions. Yoon, sensing his mother's distress, tried to intervene, pushing against Niki despite his small stature. However, Niki effortlessly picked Yoon up, his focus on the bewildered child.

Niki, still pressing for answers, asked Yoon, "Hey, little one, who's your father? And When did he become a mom?"

Just as the situation seemed to escalate further, Sunghoon, who had been silently observing from behind, stepped forward. With a calm but assertive voice, he declared, "I'm Yoon's father."

Niki, taken aback, finally released Yoon.

Niki, a smug expression on his face, commented, "I knew it had to be you. How much money do you give Sunoo for using him?" He approached Sunghoon with a confrontational stance, ready to continue his insinuations.

Sunghoon, angered by the baseless accusations, clenched his fists. Without uttering a word, he swiftly delivered a punch to Niki's face, silencing him momentarily. The unexpected force of the punch left Niki stunned, and a hush fell over the scene.

Niki rose from the ground and attempted to retaliate with a punch of his own, but Sunghoon skillfully dodged, leaving Niki frustrated and off balance.

Sunghoon spoke out, "Don't make baseless accusations. You don't know anything about our relationship." The tension hung in the air as Niki, nursing the impact of Sunghoon's punch, reconsidered his approach.

"Stay away from Sunoo," Sunghoon warned Niki sternly. The frustration in Niki's eyes intensified, but he remained silent, refusing to reply. Sunghoon, interpreting the silence as defiance, took a decisive step forward.

In response to Niki's obstinate silence, Sunghoon unleashed a swift kick, catching Niki off guard. The force of the kick sent Niki sprawling to the ground, a clear message that Sunghoon wouldn't tolerate any further intrusion into their lives.

Sunghoon, after dealing with the confrontation, turned to Sunoo, pulling him into a reassuring hug. "Everything is fine," he whispered, offering comfort. Yoon, sensing the need for unity, joined the embrace, creating a moment of solidarity.

Wrapped in the warmth of their familial bond, they left the scene behind, leaving Niki to collect himself.
