Chapter three

Sunlight peeked from the window of their chamber, Daenyra rubbed her eyes slowly and found her husband, Daemon, still asleep beside her. She smiled and kissed the tip of his nose, then she was distracted by a knock on her door.

"Yes? I haven't dressed yet. in a minute." Then she picked up her night gown which was lying on the floor and walked towards the door and then opened it and showed Lyara there . "Yeah Lyara, what's wrong?"

"Sorry princess for disturb your time, but princess Rhaenyra asked for your presence in her room and I wanted to tell you that your cousin, Prince Rhaegar just landed last night" Daenyra thought for a moment then nodded and smiled at Lyara, "Okay thabk you Lyara, before that, please prepare the children." Lyara nodded and walked away towards the twins' room.

After Lyara left, she turned to her husband and found him still asleep, so she decided to get ready and break her fast. she could feel her hair being stroke from behind, she smiled when she saw her husband's reflection in the glass. "Where are you going? It's still very early, let's go back to sleep." Daenyra smiled and stood in front of him, she stroked his cheek.

"I have to meet Rhaenyra, there is something she wants to talk to me about, oh and Rhaegar is here, in court. He land last night on dragonback" Daemon growled and looked at her, "What is he doing here? and also what does Rhaenyra want? Promise me that when you're finished you'll come straight to me" she chuckled and nodded, " I promise you husband"

Daenyra was now in front of Rhaenyra's chambers, she was a little confused because she didn't see any guards at the door. "Nyra? It's me. Can I come in?" She could hear footsteps approaching, she was a little surprised when she saw Criston Cole opening the door. "Princess, princess Rhaenyra is waiting for you inside"

Daenyra nodded and then she entered while closing the door behind her, she could see Rhaenyra who was sitting nervously on the sofa. "Nyra? What is it?" Rhaenyra turned her head and then approached her aunt, she took her hand and squeezed it gently.

Daenyra was a little panicked seeing her niece like this, "what's wrong? tell me slowly. what happened?" she looked at her while sitting on the sofa, Rhaenyra took a deep breath "I did something very stupid, really stupid" Daenyra nodded and looked at her while taking a small sip of her tea.

"I slept with Criston Cole last night," Daenyra choked and stood up, "what?! what were you thinking Nyra?!". Rhaenyra was silent and lowered her head to avoid her aunt's gaze, Daenyra walked back and forth while looking at Rhaenyra. "have you really lost your mind Nyra?! he took an oath to look after you not to fuck you"

"I know! But last night I was really desperate when Rhaegar left me alone in the brothel after fucking me of course"

"Rhaegar?? Nyra!? What!?! What are you thingking!? Oh Nyra" Rhaenyra stood up and approached her, she took her hand once again. "but auntie, last night was a really special night for me" Daenyra shook her head, she jerked Rhaenyra's hand away and then sat back down. "oh my gosh, what if your dad finds out about this? oh no no" Rhaenyra sat next to her and cupped her own cheeks, "I thought about it, what should I say?"

they both fell silent when they heard the knock on the door, "yea? is that you Layla?." Daenyra looked at her and massaged her head which was twitching slightly, "yes it's me Princess, can i come in?" After getting an answer, Layla opened the door and bowed, "sorry to disturb your time, princess, but Queen Alicent wants to talk to you, Princess Rhaenyra"

After hearing that Alicent wanted to meet Rhaneyra, she immediately wanted to accompany her. They walked together to Godwoods where Alicent was waiting for them. "Princess Daenyra, I believe that i just call Rhaenyra. What are you doing here?" Daenyra just smiled and looked at her, "I just wanted to make sure everything was okay. Besides, Nyra and I will go to library after this"
