Harus story.

Chapter 5- The house.

After Zenitsu got his sparrow and katana he was called for a mission. I was also going with him to the same mission. We were walking and Zenistu was behind me yelling at everything he saw. His poor sparrow was upset. He collapsed on the ground all for the girl to turn around to talk to him, probably asking if he was okay. Knowing Zenitsu he would think this might be a confession. This is so embarrassing "Marry me please!" The poor girl looked so uncomfortable. I tried so hard to get him off her.(Zenitsu screaming)I can't get him off. I turn around hearing Zenitsu's sparrow chirping at someone.
Who is that? It's a boy with a box, red eyes and hair, a gentle face, and a checkered haori. He started walking to him and grabbed this haori pulling him off the girl. I was hesitant to help Zenitsu but the boy had a sweet aura. Something about him was.. Different. He grabbed him then started yelling "Why are you making such a scene in the middle of the road, she clearly isn't interested in you! And you're also stressing out your sparrow!" Zenistu then spoke up. "That uniform, aren't you that one person from the final selection?" "Don't go out pretending that we know each other, cause we dont!!" I watched them argue not knowing what to do so I just stood there. "Of course we do, don't you remember, don't get angry at me! When you're the one with the terrible memory!!!" So that is the boy who he was talking about a while ago. "And you!" The boy pointed at me "why didn't you help the girl!" I was surprised when he pointed. "I couldn't pull him off, sorry." I bowed to the girl and him. The girl started hitting and slapping Zenitsu. Tanjiro started pulling her off him before she started walking away. I just stood there and yelled that I was sorry. Zenitsu started protesting how the boy caused him to make the girl leave. "Why did you have to get in my way?!! This had nothing to do with you!"

The boy gave him a stare. "Stop looking at me like that! I lost my only chance to get married and it's your fault!" The boy once again gave him an even harder look. "Look, during my next job I'll probably die. I'm way too weak. Help me, you need to protect me! Please mister!" I just stared at him sighing out before looking at the boy with earrings. "Look I'm so sorry for him he's always like this." The boy looked at me with a sort of serious expression. "My name is Tanjiro Kamado! And you are?" I looked at him and something about him was sweet "oh right my name is Haru Fuyuki and this is-'' i said in a quiet voice before I was cut off from my Zenitsu yelling. "My name is Zenitsu Agatsuma. Please you gotta do what you can do to save me!!" He started hugging onto tanjiro. I tried yanking him off. "Zenitsu get off of him!"

He refused to. "Sorry about him tanjiro, he's a little clingy. We were just going to a mission that's around here are you also going?" I tried to make small talk "Yeah i heard of a demon around here in some house would u like to tag alone too." I nodded and we went on our way. Zenitsu gave us a weird stare yet he's the weird one here. He's actually quite annoying. It's really weird. It's like he's never seen girls; he's always asking them out, which is how gramps saved him. Though he still is the way he is, I like him since he does understand others a bit.Tanjiro then told zenitsu how his sparrow really thinks of him. I can't understand bird language. We started walking.

Zenitsu was still sniffing which is always fun to watch but i don't say anything but then tanjiro speaks up with a small smile. "You better?" "No." Zenitsu then said in the sad face he always puts up. "Here." Tanjiro then pulls out a rice ball, giving it to Zenitsu. "Take one of these" He said, putting on a sweet face. Something about him is off that box giving a dark and sweet aura.. Why did he bring it isn't that heavy. "Really?" Zenitsu took it. "Is that all you have?" Tanjiro looked at him, "Yeah it was my lunch but you can have it." Zenitsu looked at him with a sad expression. He then broke a piece of it off. "Here." he said before giving it to tanjiro. "Oh really thank you zenitsu." "and i don't get anything hm." I said in a sarcastic voice before Zenitsu looked at me and let me have a bite of it.

We started walking even farther into the forest where they then found the house and two young kids. They were frightened before then tanjiro went up to them. They were hugging onto each other, from the looks of it they might be siblings. They backed up. Tanjiro then showed them Zenitsus' sparrow trying to make them calmer. With that accompanied Tanjiros sweet smile they relaxed. "So what happened?" Tanjiro said in a serious tone. The kids looked at each other then at him they said that their brother was kidnapped by some monsters; demons of course. They started crying before we saw a figure fall out of the house. Tanjiro hid the kids from seeing as they huddled together. A body fell and I gave a shocked reaction before seeing Tanjiro run towards the person covered in blood. He was enraged.

"Come on guys we gotta go in!" "do yall hear that? It's a drum sound I don't like." Something about Zenitsu I found out is that he has great hearing. I wish i did too or anything great for that matter but no im useless for now. This was my first mission so i was spectacle about it though i did want to, zenitsu started his usual whining before tanjiro was fed up and decided to just go by himself before i went with him zenitsu said hews gonna go. "Are you coming to Haru?" Tanjiro looked at him. I stared blankly. Should I go, I looked. Tanjiro just looked at me before speaking up. "Alright then can you stay here with the kids then and take care of this for me please." Tanjiro gave me the box he was carrying and then put it on my back before bowing. "Yeah sure I'll be here if you need help." I then whispered to him "go in there quickly and just yell if zenitsu's being useless."

   Tanjiro just smiled and went off to the house. I watched them leave. I sat down next to the box and the kids. I don't usually show a smile. I'm not the smiley type like Tanjiro. I'm not sweet but I want these kids to trust me. "Hey." I looked at the kids before smiling. "You are going to be just fine, they are going to find your brother, don't worry about it." They tensed up and they looked afraid. Why, though I'm not that scary, I know I'm not that nice. Then the box had noises from it scratching in it. The kids then leaped up yelling and running off into the house. Shit. Should I leave the box and take what's in there? I'm sorry Tanjiro but I gotta rush in there. I got in the house to see Tanjiro and Zenitsu and the two kids. "Oh no you guys get back! I wish you didn't leave that box out there. That box is something I value way more than even my own life!" Tanjiro looked upset. I looked away then the rooms seemed to have swapped. I was separated from them. Damn it! I went wandering around (just gonna timeskip a bit) I finally found the exit. I hear someone getting hit and whining. Zenitsu. I ran out of the house to see some kid in a boar mask beating Zenitsu while he's holding onto the box that tanjiro carried. Then I heard footsteps behind me. I just froze not knowing what to do. Help him. What should I do? Do I help protect him? What do I do! I turned to see Tanjiro behind me before Zenitsu spoke up. "I protected it, Tanjiro, the box." Tanjiro then ran towards the anger looking boar kid and punched him. I definitely saw his rib crack. There was yelling and fighting. I went to zenitsu getting a handkerchief from my small bag i had and grabbed onto Zenitsu's face to clean up his bloodied nose his face was so bad. I then heard a thud and tanjiro seemed to have headbutted the boar kid. He strummed back before it fell off the mask. What? The kid whose mask fell off was.. Pretty? I couldn't help but blush. "They looked so much like a girl it was crazy. "What is there something wrong with my face?!" Tanjiro then actually complimented him saying he was sort of attractive. "My name is Inosuke Hashibira." The boar kid told tanjiro. "How do you spell that!" Tanjiro was asking him and it turns out he does not know how to read or spell his own name. All he knows is that Inosuke is his name. Then the boar kid stopped before collapsing to the ground. Another person seriously. "Tanjiro." I spoke up. He looked back. "Take care of the kids and bury the bodies of the deceased. I'll take care of this kid." I then picked the kid up. He was almost pure muscle. I took off my haori and placed it on the ground to lay him down. He was almost my height so picking him up was sort of weird. I went to help tanjiro bury the rest of the bodies. I then sensed something and turned around to the boy as he jumped up and started yelling. "Fight me!" Inosuke sprang up yelling he seems pretty energetic for someone who just passed out. He could help us then. Tanjiro told him to but he didn't want to but he somehow encouraged him in a way of saying if he's too weak he can rest and that turned him over the edge. He prayed to all the graves. We were about on our way before Zenitsu started yelling for one of the kids to go. He's way too clingy. Tanjiro was fighting him off of the kid before hitting him caused him to sort of pass out. Then he picked him up and told us to go on. "Hashibira let's go." I yelled over to him as Tanjiro's crow was helping us get to a place. Funny thing is the way he pronounced names when tanjiro first told him he called him Gonpachiro Kamaboko which i actually sort of laughed at. I told him my name and the worst thing is he calls me just haki fuki, like who tf is that i mean he got it close but still.
