After the event the university had given you 2 days to pack up all of your things to get ready to live with the country you'll be assigned to, you and Jake where done and where waiting in front of a portal waiting for the man from the government to arrive.
After 10 minutes of waiting he arrived.
~Y/N's pov~
Finally! I was about to die of boredom!
The man started talking "I will be escorting you guys into this portal and into the room where you will see what country you'll be assigned to" then he proceeded to walk through the portal, Jake and I shortly followed along with other students that I didn't know. Shortly after we were all stunned by a beautiful hallway.

(Picture this but in a more dark-wood version and it's like big enough for a GIANT to fit in- like the size of the Burj Khalifa tower, the tower is 828 meters tall or 2717 feet tall. And so like EVERYTHING is MASSIVE. This goes for every room in the building unless said otherwise by me lol.)
It was amazing, and EVERYTHING was absolutely MASSIVE! Like I could probably fly up a 1 KM or so! (1 KM = 0.621 miles for the Americans reading.)
As I was looking around the man who was guiding us started speaking. "Alright now everybody follow me!" Then he turned around and started flying down the hallway, and a few seconds later I followed him with the others. After a while we had made it to the end of the huge hallway and were met with a giant dark wooden door luckily there was a much smaller door at the bottom of the door for us normal humans.

The man from the government entered the door indicating that we must follow, we all follow suit. We are then greeted with a GIGANTIC confiance room!

And in it were all the country humans and- 'wait is that the UN???' You thought as you saw UN sitting down at the main chair in the front of the room with all the other important Organizations sitting next to him such as NATO and the EU.
'I can't believe that I'm actually within the pressentis of some of the largest Organizations in the world! Let alone the UN!' You thought as you stood there staring in amazement. Only to snap out of it when you heard UN speak.
"Greetings humans, I see that you've brought in this year's new assistants? I believe they are just as good or better than the last ones!" Said the UN looking at the group then to the government guy.
"Well yes! We would never dare let you down sir!" The man said with a smile on his face.
"Okay good, then we may begin the process to assign them there country's." The UN said happily.
"Who would like to be assigned first?" The UN asked our group then Jake walked forward showing that he wanted to go first.
"What is your name young man?" The UN asked Jake.
"I'm Jake Dandruff UN sir!"
"Nice to meet you Jake. I see here in your files that you're very smart and logical, I'm right no?"
"Yes UN sir, you're correct." Jake said with pride.
"How wonderful! I see a country that would benefit from your intelligence and logic mind." UN said to Jake with a smile. "Ukraine Im giving you young Jake here to assist you in these difficult times and for much longer." UN said looking at Ukraine with a smile. "Do you accept Jake as your new assistant?"
"I do!" Ukraine said happily with a smile on her face.
"Then, Jake Dandruff you may have a seat next to Ukraine." UN said happily. And Jake flew over to Ukraine and sat down on the desk. (Because everything is massive lol)
(Time skip about 10 minutes.)
Finally everyone else has been assigned to a country, everyone but Y/N.
"Looks like you're the last person to be assigned to a country, what may be your name young lady?" UN asks kindly.
"I'm Y/N L/N UN sir." You said kindly and happily.
"Looks like you're in luck miss Y/N L/N, since there is only one country that doesn't have an assistant." The UN says happily. And the deep and loud grunt of annoyance from a man with a loud and deep voice could be heard from across the room.
"We have no choice but to assign you to be Russia's assistant." The UN says kindly to you. But you were quite worried, you've heard that Russia himself has a tendency to be rather aggressive, hotheaded and blunt. He was only softer with people who he cared about deeply, but you had a deep feeling in your gut that it wouldn't be the case for you.
"Your kindness and intelligence will come in handy for Russia, I'm sure of it." The UN said sweetly as he gestured you to go sit down next to Russia.
You hesitated for a moment but soon flapped your wings and flew over to Russia's desk, landing gracefully on it and sitting down in a Japanese style.
Russia simply looked down at you from above/behind as you sat there on his meeting desk with a slight glare, but he didn't do anything or say anything.

I'm sorry about my absence, I've been really busy with school work lately and the stress from my exams from my first semester really destroyed my motivation for most things in life, but I'm happy to say that I'm back on my feet! My school even had to make arrangements for my second semester because of the fact that I'm no longer allowed to do gym class (or PE, whatever you call it) because of my heart condition increasing in severity. So instead I'm doing 10th grade history class! And I'm at the TOP of my class! Just imagine a 9th grader completely DOMINATING a full class of 10th graders! Even better! The last quiz I had about WW1, I got 100% on it! And my teacher said that I was the ONLY PERSON in the entire CLASSROOM that had gotten 100% on the quiz! I'm really proud right now. :D
Also, should Y/N be assigned to Russia or Canada? I'm unsure, but yet again I dooo have the story planned out in Russia's favour so yeah...
