II Author's POV II

*WAKEUP~WAKEUP~IT'S A NEW DAY S S S~~*

Y/n's eyes shot open as she was jolted awake by the blaring sound of her alarm at exactly 8 o'clock in the morning. She groaned in frustration and rubbed her eyes, trying to shake off the drowsiness that was still clinging to her.

"Why must you torment me every morning?" she audibly muttered in sleep while looking at her non-living alarm clock kept on the nightstand.

She lazily swung her legs over the side of the bed and her bare feet met the cool wooden floor, sending a shiver up her spine.

''What the fudge- Why my floor has become a playground ground of antartica?'' She exclaimed lazily, quickly putting her slippers on. She stretched her arms above her head, letting out a deep yawn, and then shuffled towards the balcony, drawn by the lure of the early winter morning.

As she stepped out onto the balcony, the crisp air nipped at her cheeks, causing them to turn a rosy shade of red. The view before her was breathtaking, with a light fog covering the streets and a serene stillness that enveloped the entire neighborhood. She couldn't help but admire the wisps of steam rising from the neighboring houses, a sure sign that winter had truly arrived.

Y/n took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment, savoring the moment. She was grateful for the peacefulness of the morning, which was a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city that she was accustomed to. It was moments like these that made her appreciate the simple things in life.

Y/n had just finished admiring the view from her balcony and was about to head back inside when she noticed something odd. Her gaze fell upon the slightly ajar window, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of confusion wash over her.

"How did the window get opened?" she muttered to herself, her brow furrowed in thought

"How did the window get opened?" she muttered to herself, her brow furrowed in thought. "As long as I remember, maybe I closed it last night?!" she said with a hint of unsureness.

As she stood there, thoughts of the inexplicable event raced through her mind. She began to doubt her own memory, wondering if she had perhaps left the window open unintentionally due to being too tired the night before. However, as she looked around, everything else in her apartment seemed to be in order, and she couldn't find any other signs of disturbance.

''Maybe I left it open in the sleep'' she reasoned. Despite her puzzlement, Y/n decided to put the incident behind her and carry on with her day. She made her way towards the bathroom, hoping that a refreshing shower would help clear her mind and start her day anew.

Y/n stepped out of the warm, steam-filled bathroom and wrapped herself in a fluffy towel. Droplets of water glistened on her skin as she hurriedly dried herself off. She hummed a tune in her head, the rhythm matching her excitement for the day ahead.
