Y/N woke up on her makeshift bed, feeling confused. when did she get here? she stayed laying down for a moment, even falling in and out of consciousness a few times. that was until shauna tapped her with her shoe, her voice going in one ear and out the other. "y/n wake up." shauna said, eliciting a groan from the other.
y/n turned over and looked at the ceiling, but her view was disturbed by shauna basically towering over her. "wakeee uppp." she said, lightly tapping the other's cheek. "it's your turn to get water." she directed, satisfied when y/n sat up from her cot.
"it's so early though?"
"it's not that early." shauna smiled. of course, befriending jackie meant somewhat befriending shauna as well. shauna was always nice to y/n, and actually did help her a lot with 4th period trigonometry.
"it's early for me. i just woke up." y/n groaned, stretching before she stood up. she was ready to start to routine. "you're not the only one." shauna chuckled. once she saw that the other was about to leave, she wished her goodluck and left as well.
y/n got dressed and fixed herself up to the best of her ability. she walked out to the porch, seeing that everyone else was somewhat busy. there wasn't much to do and the group was starting to get hungry. y/n sighed, looking around for the bucket she uses for water but ended up noticing lottie just standing around. she wanted to wave but part of her was curious as to what she was even doing.
she was lounging around, dozing off into her own world. with the success from the night before, y/n thought maybe it was okay to invite lottie to walk with her to the lake. it was a nice morning, and she honestly just wanted an excuse to be around her again.
but before y/n could even walk to lottie, the tanned girl spotted her gaze and walked off as if y/n was a hideous monster. y/n's eyebrows furrowed in offense, her mouth slightly agape in disbelief.
what the fuck..? y/n thought. she debated on just walking on without lottie but something in her told her to go after her. so that's what she did. she yanked the bucket from where it was and followed after lottie, who was struggling to find somewhere to hide.
"lottie!" she called out, making sure to successfully mask her irritation. "hey, can we talk?" she said, surprised as to why lottie immediately stopped walking at the sound of her voice. she turned around to look at her, looking slightly nervous. "what?" she asked, a tiny frown on her face.
"i wanted to ask you something." y/n announced, finding herself getting distracted by the look on lottie's face. she didn't like seeing her frown. "um..i was just wondering if you'd like to walk with me to get some water. it's not that long of a walk but it would be nice to have company?" she asked.
