"How interesting that we would find an Autobot here." I cooed at Bulkhead.

"Chasing the same signal we got." Breakdown said.

"Outnumbered, outgunned, oh you poor thing." I said with a tone of sarcastic sympathy.

"Listen here, pipsqueak!" Bulkhead growled at me.

"Tsk tsk tsk." I tutted with a waggle of my digit. "Don't you know it's rude to comment on a bots height? Breakdown, how about we bring him to my height by snapping off his legs?"

"With pleasure."

Breakdown and I both charged Bulkhead and instigated a pretty nasty fight that may or may not have resulted in the destruction of a few buildings. But it didn't matter, because now we had Bulkhead exactly where we wanted him.

"Not bad shortstop." Breakdown teased me, to which I playfully punched him. "Now to settle some unfinished business." Breakdown approached the downed Wrecker and poised his hammer right on the side of his helm. "Hammer time." As Breakdown was readying for a strike, I heard the sound of helicopters, and my helm turned to see a small army of vehicles rapidly closing in on us.

"BREAKDOWN LOOK OUT!" I cried out to the big bot.

"What? GAH!" Breakdown cried out in pain as a burst of electromagnetic energy poured into his body and forced him to the ground.

"Breakdown!" I cried out in fear, barely managing to dodge a shot of the same thing. I drew my rifle and fired a warning shot  at the humans, forcing several of them to scatter.

"Hold your fire!" A human with multiple facial scars barked, the masked humans backing off somewhat but still keeping their weapons aimed at me.

"Who are you?" I growled coldly and aimed my rifle at the man.

"I am Silas." The man said. "And you must be Y/D, correct?"

"Why do you know that?" I asked with a suspicious look.

"I don't know how things work on your planet," Silas said with a tone I could tell had malicious intent behind it, although I could not quite identify what that intent was. "But on earth, you don't answer a question with a question."

"Oh yeah? Well, on my planet, we don't converse with organics who try and get in between fights they have no business even seeing." I snapped. "Tell me what you have done to my comrade? Now."

"I assure you he is unharmed." Silas said. "Merely asleep for the moment. After all, your guard is known to be... impulsive, is he not?"

"Occasionally, yes." I said with narrowing optics. "But what does that have to do with anything?"

"We simply want to study you, and if you want your comrade to live, you'd comply." I looked over to Breakdown and saw that several of the humans had swarmed his helm, aiming weapons at vital points that could kill him instantly.

"You wouldn't dare!" I growled as I whipped my helm back to him.

"I would. Now come along quietly, and he will live." I looked over to Breakdown and then back to Silas, the gears in my processor turning as I weighed my options.

"Fine." I said as I retracted my blaster and kept my servos visible to them. "Just... leave Breakdown alone."

"Good, now shift forms so that we can transport you." Silas said. Reluctantly, I complied, shifting forms and staying still.

"You better leave Breakdown be." I said coldly.

"Get onto the flatbed, and we will." Silas said, his tone suggesting he was telling the truth, but I couldn't be certain.

"If you betray me, Silas," I growled as I slowly backed up the ramp to the flatbed. "It will be your undoing."

"I have no doubt of that." Silas said. He waved over a few of the masked humans and had them strap my wheels down to the flatbed, securing me firmly in place. He then gestured for the ones by Breakdown's helm to leave, and they complied much to my relief.

'I'll find you Breakdown.' I thought as I was carried away from the unconscious bot. 'Just stay safe.'

-with Bulkhead and Breakdown-

"Urgh..." Bulkhead grunted as he sat up, his servo going right to his pounding processor. Breakdown also grunted as he came to, the two bulky mechs looking at each other and jumping to their pedes with weapons drawn. That is, until Breakdown noticed I was missing.

"What did you do with Y/D?!" Breakdown snapped.

"I didn't do anything!" Bulkhead retorted.

"Then where is he?" Breakdown snarled.

"I have no idea!" Bulkhead said. Breakdown let out a frustrated growl and slammed his hammer into a nearby building, crushing the side into pieces. He vented heavily and angrily before Breakdown slumped over somewhat.

"Dammit..." Breakdown whispered to himself, his voice shaky and suggesting to Bulkhead that he was struggling to contain his emotions. That's when Bulkhead noticed the fresh tire tracks that now covered the ground, his optics darting between them and Breakdown.

"He may have been taken by someone." Bulkhead said. Breakdown turned to look at him and noticed the tracks as well. Breakdown went to follow them, but Bulkhead stopped him much to Breakdown's anger. "Hang on Breakdown. Don't just go running off." Breakdown glared at Bulkhead, silently demanding an explanation and quick. "Look, something isn't right here. The ebergon signal was clearly bait for a trap."

"Ya think?" Breakdown scoffed sarcastically. "Whoever took Y/D is going to regret ever existing."

"That's the issue, Breakdown." Bulkhead said in an effort to reason with the ex Wrecker. "We don't know who took him or why." Breakdown paused for a long time and begrudgingly sighed before plunking to a seated position with his helm hung low.

"You know I always hated it when you're right." Breakdown grumbled.

"Look, I'll call Optimus, and we can figure this out."

"We?" Breakdown scoffed. "Since when was there ever a we?"

"Since whoever took him didn't take either of us instead." Bulkhead said.

-with Y/D-

"Lay down there." The humans barked at me as I shifted forms and laid down onto the ground. "And don't move an inch." I complied, and the humans strapped me down to the floor with tight metal restraints.

"Silas, what is your goal here?" I asked as I eyed the scar faced human.

"To push humanity towards a new age." He said.

"And I'm assuming you need something from me in order to achieve that?" I deduced.

"More than just something," Silas said with a cruel and unforgiving smile. "Everything, starting with that good optic of yours."
