chapter 30-The pool reception

When the wedding was over on the beach everyone who was there to see them get married went to their rooms really fast to get changed to go to the pool deck. Katara and Mike's wedding party had reservations for the pool deck at 1:30pm and couldn't be late for this special event made just for them. They had the place catered and a special Dj to help out with the music for the day. When they got to the rooms they all hurried to get dressed in their bathing suits and stuff. Katara and Mike had to be up on the pool deck before anyone would get there to let them in the place. only the people who were at the wedding were allowed up there at this time til 4pm.

Katara and Mike's room:

Katara: This day is so perfect so far. Cant believe some people showed up from last night to witness the wedding for us.

Mike: Yes, that was pretty nice of them to do something like that for someone they don't even know.

Katara: Well, maybe they wanted to go to some random wedding that was going on for a bucket list thing or who knows why they would do that for someone they don't even know.

Mike: well, are you ready to head up to the pool deck now to have the reception party before its too late to have it?

Katara: Yes, im totally ready to go now.

When it was time to go to the pool deck it was 1pm and they had the people coming around 1:30pm to celebrate with them.

When Mike and Katara got up there they saw a pail with their names on it. It had a bottle of red wine for them. It was from the captain of the cruise. this was nice of him to do for them. they poured a glass of wine and took their first drink together as Mr. and Mrs. coil. This was nice. The Dj started to play music because the people will be arriving soon.

Bambi and Cody's room:

When Bambi was done getting ready for this event coming up she looked at the time and realized they needed to be there like right now.

Bambi: We need to be up at the pool deck right now be for Katara kills me for being late.

Cody: OK, I'm ready to leave now.

So, they ended up grabbing their towels and headed up to the pool deck. it was 1:15pm when they arrived up there. now they were waiting on Stephanie and Joe to get there before everyone else.

Katara found the phone that was in the pool area and called down to their room and see if they were even on there way to the area, yet. When the phone rang Stephanie answered it.

Stephanie: Hello

Katara: Hey, are you two ready to go up to the pool area, yet?

people are gonna start arriving in about 10 minutes.

Stephanie: Yes, we are leaving to head up there right now. Be there in a minute or two.

So, with that Stephanie got off the phone and her and Joe grabbed their towels and went straight on the elevator and headed to the 11 th floor where the party was gonna be held. now when they got there Katara was so happy to see them. She needed Joe to stand at the door to let only the few people who were at the beach wedding in. No onther people could come in the place because it wasn't a public affair for everyone and they wouldn't hav enough food for everyone who wasn't allowed to be there.

Soon as the whole wedding party was there they started the music and let the people in, so they could start this reception be for time ran out. they hoped to have a lot of fun today with these people and get to know some and make new friends while they are here. When they get back home they were gonna have a proper reception party with their family. This should be good when they end up having it.

Katara: look at how good this party is on such a short notice and how many friends we could make here today on this cruise.

Mike: Yeah, this is gonna be great. lets walk around and meet some people and get their numbers, so we could keep in touch if we could do so today.

katara: I also, would like to get pictures of everything while we have the chance as well.

Mike: Sounds like a good plan to me.

So, with that they walked around and met some of the people before they started to eat the food that was there for them.

When it was time to eat the Dj made the announcement and then they headed towards the food to eat. There was a lot to choose from because the people in the dinner hall set this whole thing up for them. The Dj continued to play the music while he and everyone else ate. Around 2:30pm they started the dancing.

Dj: I would like the bride and groom to have there first dance here on the dance floor please.

With that they got on the dance floor and danced to the slow song that they have chosen. ( I love you this big by Scotty McCreary ) After that was over everyone could join them and dance or get in the pool until 4pm. They had such a special day today.
