I sat down near Radhika and Sakthi. And after our formal introductions, our department HOD walked inside the class. Before we go into detail about his speech, let me introduce myself. I am a single child and my parents were working till my mom got diagnosed with a blockage in her heart vein last year. She had to undergo surgery, so we had to convince her to leave her job and take care of her health.
My dad and mom are a loving couple. My dad is very modern and he loves me so much and my mom is strict, she never made me feel her love. She was always tough.
I always wanted a sibling, even now if my mom is pregnant, I would be so happy. Because I am so lonely at home. As my parents worked harder, I never had anyone to play with when I was home or have fights like they show in movies.
I always longed for a sibling, but I know that it's not going to happen. So I always try to have loads of friends. So that I will not be lonely. Sakthi and Radhika seem to be nice and I would like to be friends with them.
My home is just 20 minutes from college. So I am not a hostelite like the other two.
And onto what HOD was saying, it's just usual introductions. So what we can do is, we can just fast-forward to the 3rd year of our college when the story gets interesting.
Me, Radhika and Sakthi were sitting under a tree and writing our assignment. We grew very attached in the past two years and became BFFs.
Radhika's sister Mallika got married to the love of her life last month. She met him during her 3rd year of college. So Radhika hopes to find her love this year ( she won't agree but she does hope).
Me and Sakthi were very much single, Sakthi is not interested in dating now. I, on the other hand, would like to try but didn't fall for anyone.
Suddenly Radhika's phone chimed.
"Hey, do you know whose number is this?" she asked, looking at her phone. We checked the number but didn't have it in our contacts.
"What does the message say?" asked Sakthi.
Radhika looked a bit embarrassed and shy. She said, "You look so cute in your black dress"
"No" we both cooed.
"Someone got a secret admirer"
"Come on, it could be a prank"
"Who will pull a prank on you?"
" I Don't know. Let's see".
Me and Sakthi looked at each other and smiled. We kept quiet though.
Again Radhika's phone chimed.
"You look cute even while writing your assignment"
Radhika was confused and we three looked around at each other. There are boys in the nearby building but none were looking at us.
"Stalker vibes," I said
"Yeah girl" Sakthi agreed.
But Radhika didn't say anything. She was just looking at all sides.
