The discovery.

part 12

6 hours later (5pm)

I was sorting my knifes out that Bucky gave me before the whole thing while Kate was making some new arrows that Clint taught her to do.

I look up at her to see how she's doing and she keeps fiddling with the one arrow cause she can't get the gun powder inside of it.

"Need some help there Kate?"

She looks up at me and nods placing down the arrow and powder, i pick it up and hold it tightly then pours the powder inside and screws the top of the arrow on and puts it in her done collection.

"All sorted for you, also it's getting late how about we have some dinner and watch a movie?" I look at her putting down the knife i was sharpening.

"Yeah sure that sounds nice" kate places down her last arrow and stands up walking to the living room while I walk to the kitchen.

"Kate looks like we're gonna have to order food because we have nothing at all"

"That's alright how about pizza?" Kate grabs her phone and gets the pizza takeaway up.

"Sounds good to me" i walk to the sofa with Lucky next to you and sits next to Kate leaning into her a bit, she leans down and kisses my head softly and you smile at how she's being so gentle with me in her arms.

"Im gonna make us last Grace I promise" Kate looks down playing with my hair and I look up at her and we sit there for a few minutes just looking into each others eyes before Kate leans down and kisses me softly with those beautiful lips until the door knocks "I'll get it you wait here love."

I smile at the sight of her walking to the door in such a bubbly mood, Kate walks back over and places down the pizza on the little coffee table she has then she put on Netflix to watch a film.

2 hours later.

Kate looks at me, I start to laugh at how funny the comedy is that she put on for us to watch together "Omgggg Kate this is so funny! I love it! Hahaha!" I place my hand on her leg while laughing and she just smiles at how happy I am "i love you Grace"she keeps her eyes on me while I stop what I'm doing and turns to look at her "uhh what?" She starts to chuckle at the sight of my confusion. "Grace I said I love you" I just shake my head really confused "wait! I did not just hear "THE" Kate bishop say she loves me after hating me my entire life!" I turn my whole body around keeping my eyes on her "well let's just say I never actually hated you...I was just scared of hurting you" she looks down fiddling with her fingers, I place my hand on hers stopping her from fiddling "As much as what you did was stupid and made me angry you could never hurt me Kate...and plus I love you even more than you think" she chuckles and I chuckle a bit with her. Kate moves her spare free hand to my left cheek and caresses it softly with her thumb "Grace I know I only said yesterday that I need time to make you my girlfriend but I just want you now I want all of you to be mine and I want me to be yours so-" Kate was about to finish until I got a little bit too excited "YES!" I put my hand on my mouth laughing "I never even asked the question yet but at least I know my answer" Kate rubs the back of her neck smiling, I grab her face gently and pulls her in to a loving, passionate kiss. She kisses me back, I could just feel her smile throughout the kiss but we pulled away after a few minutes to catch a breath, she looks at me and just smiles in happiness "I'm so lucky to know that your my girlfriend" I smile really wildly after that beautiful comment from Kate, my smile fades though after a few seconds "what do you think everyone at the compound will say?" I start to worry myself and I can feel my nerves ruining the moment between us "hey hey it's okay..don't worry I think they will take it perfectly okay..." Kate lifts my hand up and kisses it "how about we go together tomorrow to let them know? We can tell your mom first or tell everyone?" Kate reassures me, I look up and smile "I think everyone to get it over and done with" Kate nods and smiles. "How about we head to bed now cause it's getting very very late and we have to be up early tomorrow to head back" Kate looks at me while rubbing her thumb over my Knuckles to keep me calm, I nod and she smiles then she picks me up carrying me bridle style to the bedroom.

I walk out the bathroom with some sweatpants and Kate's hoodie, she smiles at the sight of me while she's already put her "lady hawk" pj's on that she got her friend to make for her. I get into the bed next to Kate and lays my head on her chest listening to her heart beat, Kate puts her phone on charge before turning the lamp off leaving the room fully dark, she places her fingers with mine playing with them for a bit before she falls asleep. I look up at her asleep and kissed her cheek, then I place my leg on her stomach while my head was leaning into her neck smelling her smelt, I slowly start to fall asleep knowing I'm safe that she is here with me, she wraps her arms around me even tighter to know I'm still there while I smile before falling asleep in her warm arms.
