♡Meeting again♡

Mike pov

I glared at my Henry with disgust as Abby looked at Vanessa confused. She was so innocent and didn't realise the man beside us was the father that abandonned us at our lowest. I despised him for that.

Abby looked apaled at my reaction as we heard a car park there. All of us immidiatly turn our heads towards the minivan. We're in a forest in nowhere who could it possibly be. A loud thud could be heard as the door suddenly opened. Liz's brother walked in holding Elizabeth's waist. 

Her now blonde hair was now fading into her original colour and there was a bit of blood on her body. We could still see through her wet shirt the bandages on her stomach and there were a few burned marks on her hand, cheek and leg. She wimpered as we all gathered around her. Henry checking her wounds. She was so weak she didn't seem to notice we were here. Vanessa immidiatly takes Abby to another room.

"Hey uncle Henry." She wimpered as Michael put her down on the couch.

"Lizzy stop moving, Mike what happened to her?"

"She burned the toy's and withered location. She stayed in the building." Henry looks at Elizabeth as if he wanted to scold her before he took out a wet towel and a cream for her burns. He started applying gently the cream after cleaning her burns as I could only look from afar.

What if she tried running away? I glanced at the way my father held her in his arms and whispered soft words to her ears and I couldn't help but feel jealous. They bonded even better then he ever did with me. I felt bad thinking that when Lizzy was hurt but I couldn't help it. 

When my father's finally done he went to the kitchen with Michael as they started talking of what I assumed was the fire. I sat next to Elizabeth and held her hand. Gently stroking her hand as she looked up at me.

"Hi Elizabeth. It's me. Are you okay."

"I'm alright. I think." She muttered sitting up on the couch with me.

"Can we talk?"

"Alright, I guess I don't really have a choice do I?"

"Why did you run away from us?" She stayed silent at my words and stared blankly at the floor. It's like she didn't want to say anything so she thought thoughtfully of what vague answer to say.

"It's complicated."

"Well...okay you don't want to talk about that. I'm not sure if you'll run away again so I want to tell you what I wanted to say all this time. I love you Lizzy." Her eyes widened and before she could mutter anything, Abby ran in the room with Vanessa behind her. Abby jumped in Liz's arms happily as Lizzy hugged her back pulling the strands in her face away.

Elizabeth greeted with a hug her sister before my sister dragged her to a corner taking out from her bag crayons and papers. They started drawing but I could still feel Elizabeth glances as I talked with Vanessa. Vanessa seemed to relax at the view of her sister and Abby. More relaxed then I've ever seen her these past weeks.

After a few hours, Michael was gone home, Abby and Henry were having some time with each other. Even if I knew who he pretended she was. Vanessa looked between me and her sister before gasping. Realising we wanted to talk alone. She quickly joined Abby and my dad.

I turned back to Elizabeth. Her dark green eyes staring back at me. The same glance I keep seein werever I walk by. I see these eyes in the leaves that are starting to fade into an orange shade, the vegetation that reminds me of her gentleness with everything around her, I even see these eyes in the brinze of wind the morning when the air is green blury around the forest. Why couldn't I get this red head girl out of my head? It's like she's a part of me now. She takes a step towards me.

"About what you said earlier..."

"It's okay if you don't feel the same way. I admitted loving you because I wanted you to know before we cut ways again." She cut me off as she started bitting her bottom lip before she finally answered.

"I was about to say that...I feel the same way. I love you too."

"What...? You love me too?" She nods silently as I instinctively wrapped my arms around her waist as she did the same with my neck. We stared deeply at each other as I could feel the air suddenly feeling as heavy as the weight of the earth.

My heart was beating as fast as the speed of the light as I gripped lightly her chin. I noticed the corners of her lips curl into a small smile as I finally brought her closer to me. Our lips were barely touching and I felt the best I ever was in my entire life. As if my problems disapear or never even existed. All that mattered was this moment. Her. 

After our lips brushed against each other I finally kissed her. Her lips were soft. Softer then anything I've ever touched before. 

My heart stopped colliding fast against my chest. My whole body relaxed as we moved our lips together in synch. I felt as if I've been kissing her my whole life and all the doubts about this kiss faded away. Leaving us in a big perfect cloud in the sky. That's when we heard a high pitched voiced behind us. Abby was just behind us making gagging sounds as my dad was trying not to laugh at her reaction. Elizabeth pulled away as I glared at my father. 

"Mike you can't steal Lizzy from me! You can't just kiss in front of me it's disgusting." Abby ordonned me as I rolled my eyes.

"You wish. "

"Elizabeth are you coming with us or are you staying here?" Vanessa said ignoring our bickering. Elizabeth looked at Henry unsure before she said no with her head.

"I have unfinished business here but I'll visit." She hugged her sister, whispering something in her ear before she kissed Vanessa's forehead. She moved on to Abby. She crouched down to her heigh and hugged tightly Abby, giving her some kind of drawing. 

Seeing the drawing, a smile immidiatly crept on her face and she hugged Lizzy one more time before she ran back to me and Vanessa. Abby glared at me when she saw I was about to kiss Liz again. She grabbed me by the arm and dragged me to the car.
