i'm walking across the room trying to find kolby, cause there's no way she's gonna miss a party and plus she's with anna and gwen. although them being her best friends are also my friends.

i spot her across the room talking to someone but i can't tell who, i start speed walking to try and catch up before she goes but am stopped in my tracks when i see the one person she was talking to was the one person who genuinely hoped she wouldn't.

what could they possibly be talking about? i whisper to noah after dipping into a corner so no one sees me.
