MIZUKI

IT'S FIVE DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS and I've been spending most of my winter break with Noya.

Somehow I grew fond of the boy and enjoyed being around him more. It's like he did a 180 overnight but still had his same personality just less clingy and jealous.

Mar and I were on our way to Coach Ukai's store to get snacks. Winter in Japan was pretty but cold. Both of us wore big coats with fur around the hood and gloves, Mar had on ear muffs whereas I made a balaclava with my scarf to keep my face as warm as possible since my nose runs a lot in the winter

"Are you and Tanaka going to the winter festival?" I asked my sister as we walked down the snow-covered sidewalk

My sister shrugged, "I don't know. I think he's going ice skating with his family"

Over a couple of months that Noya and I were getting closer, she and Tanka have been seeing each other. The talking stage.

"Noya asked me to go"

"When are you guys gonna stop pretending like you don't like each other?" My sister asked opening the door to the small convenience store

"Welco- Hey girls!" Coach Ukai's face brightened as he recognized that we weren't random customers

"Hey Coach" We greeted him back whilst walking over to the register where he sat

"I'm actually glad you're here" He started, "Takeda and I are planning to have a team Christmas in the gym tomorrow evening"

"Oh fun" I smiled at the kind gesture of the coaches

"The boys wanted a sleepover so we combined both. You two are more than welcome to come" He smiled at us

"We'll be there" Mar agreed for the both of us

"Great! It's tomorrow at 6:30 in the gym"

"I'll be bringing my slippers" I nodded making him laugh

My sister and I split up in the store getting whatever snacks we came for. I grabbed spicy ramen with tteokbokki and juice, whereas my sister got a bento box and a Fanta.

As perusal I made and warmed up my ramen in the store, it was extremely cold outside and I wanted no part of it.

"Is ramen the only thing you get here?" My sister questioned opening up her box

"Pretty much" I nodded. The microwave turned off with a loud 'ding' signaling that my food was ready. Eagerly I took my ramen out and My sister and I walked to the small table in the back of the store. We always ate our food and paid Coach after basically showing him our trash
